receiving the design samples) to meet the application requirements and the cost for the
changes, if any, should be borne by the customer.
C. Design samples needed to start the project; all machines are tested with customer supplied
products before dispatch. These product samples and film roll should be sent free of charge
(freight paid) on non-returnable basis to our factory.

PROPOSED EQUIPMENT(S)
INTRODUCTION- 65AVST25 AUTOMATIC VERTICAL UPSTACKER TANDEM SLEEVE WRAPPER MACHINE
Machine Principle- The Sleeve Wrapper uses four rolls of single wound shrink film. Two film rolls are
kept on the roll holder at top and other rolls kept at the bottom. Once the film from both the rolls is
sealed to make a joint, it forms a curtain through which the products are pushed through and the film is
sealed again at the back side of the products. This form a tube of film (open at two ends) around the
product(s).

Operation –
The products will be accepted automatically onto infeed conveyor in Lay flat Long side leading direction.
Two product matrices form simultaneously at collation area, then gently pushed across film curtain with
help of two identical pneumatic pushers.
Once the pneumatic pushers retract back, the sealing arm is actuated, and this makes a film curtain
around the products. The products are hold by top hold down clamp cylinder during time of sealing. The
products are then moved to shrink tunnel by special knife edge transfer conveyor. The complete
sequence including unwinding motors is controlled through PLC.

MACHINE DETAIL- 65AVST25

Film Feed-
• The machine is equipped with four film reels, inserted into spindles and fixed by tension rollers which
are driven by gear motor and a dancing bar is mounted, which guide the film roll to unwind film by a
limit switch. The unwinding stage is driven by a fixed speed AC motor.
Film Cutting-sealing and Outfeed -
 As tray packs reach at the sealing section, a top hold clamp holds the pack and freeze any movement
while sealing.

• While the film is drawn into the film sealing & cutting area, a Hot crossbar cuts and seals the film-
crosswise to the running direction and motion is controlled pneumatically.

• This film cut length depends on the bundle size (rows, columns and layers).

• The sealed pack sends to the film wrapping section i.e. to the shrink tunnel. This ensures very positive
movement & complete control of the film during all the time.

OPERATING DESCRIPTION AND USE OF ASSEMBLIES

Before setting the sleeve wrapper and the tunnel for operation, it is advisable & necessary to get used to
the components that comprises of the Machine for the Operating Cycle.
The Shrink wrapper is basically composed of following components.

a) Infeed conveyor: -Infeed conveyor is the part of machine for the transport of product from the dead
plate through a conveyor belt towards the sealing assembly.

b) Sealing Bar: -This is a pneumatically operated assembly, which moves vertically up and down. This
assembly contains a seal cutter & heater for cutting and sealing. This assembly is guided by the guide
rods, which don’t allow the sealing bar to shift from its position.

c) Pusher- A pneumatic cylinder carries a pusher block, which holds a Pusher Plate. Product is pushed
into the sealing area with the help of the pusher unit.

d) Films unwind assembly- There are four films unwind assemblies in the machine, the two lower Film
unwind assembly and the two upper film unwind assembly. Both the films unwind assemblies work
individually. Film unwind assembly consists of a A.C. motor fixed speed. Film unwind assembly
unwinds the film Rolls as soon as it gets the signal from the sensor that the film is required. The
dancing bar which moves up and down gives signal to the sensor with help of cam.

e) Top Hold assembly/Side Gate Assemble- Product on the infeed conveyor is stopped by the Top Hold
assembly. It consists of a pneumatic cylinder mounted just before the collation area. This assembly
can be adjusted as per the product matrix to be sleeve wrapped. When Minimum & Maximum
sensors gets on then it gives thru PLC to Top Hold to open & let the products go inside the collation
area.

f) Stacking assembly- This assembly Stacks the product in a matrix form in front of pusher as the recipe
selected in the HMI screen

DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE SAFETY SYSTEM

Machine safety is divided into major sections:


1) Emergency push button: In case of any emergency push buttons is actuated the machine stops
immediately.
2) Door switches: The machine has acrylic doors with door switch mounted on them. In case a door
is opened the machine does not operate.
3) Guarding: All the transmission drives (chain and sprockets) are covered properly as far as
possible. Approach to these drives is required only in case of troubleshooting and maintenance.
4) Alarm Jaw Safety: When a product comes under the cross-seal jaw due to any reason then safety
alarm will be on and machine stops.
5) Film Brake Alarm: If due to any reason film breaks or film roll finishes then machine will stop &
Red tower lamp gets on.
6) Film Reverse Winding: If due to static charge in film, roll gets reverse winding. If it happens,
machine will stop & Red tower lamp gets on.

SHRINK TUNNEL 65ST25.
Such wrapped packs arrive in the shrink tunnel where the film is shrink and the overlapping film ends are
laminated to a tight pack.

Principle of Operation-
The shrink tunnel would circulate hot air around the pack as it moves on the conveyor. The air blow is
provided by means of blower motors. The air from inside of the tunnel is sucked and blown on the
heater. Heaters are finned types and are located on the sides of the tunnel chamber. This re-circulated
air comes on the pack from all sides, top & bottom, thereby giving a uniform shrink to the pack.
Once the product moves out of the hot chamber, cool air is blown on the pack to achieve a tight cling
on the pack and to cool the pack.

PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Shipment: The shipment for the equipment can be made in approximately 5months from the date of
receipt of your purchase order, deposit, actual samples & final specifications for all the equipment.

Payment terms:
1) 50% as down payment with Purchase Order.
2) 50% + GST after FAT before dispatch of the Machine.
Equipment Approval Drawings: Specifications and drawings pertaining to equipment quoted are
property of Seller and customer must approve in writing and return all equipment drawings by the date
specified. Delay in the return of approval drawings or essential customer accessories will extend
production and shipping dates. Verbal approvals must be confirmed in writing.
Machine Installation & Commissioning: The machine will be thoroughly tested at the factory with your
product before shipment. The installation of equipment at your plant can be carried out by a team of
local Clearpack and overseas Engineers. To and from air travel, local conveyance, boarding and lodging in
a decent Hotel / Guest House would be to customer’s account. Customer to make available required
packaging material, utilities connections and technical and non-technical manpower (list of same will be
submitted post purchase order) prior to arrival of our service engineer at site.
Machine will be considered as handed over as soon as machine is installed and commissioned with the
first main SKU during 1st visit of service engineer. Customer has to ensure availability of all the SKUs
material ordered during his first visit if some of the SKUs material are not available our service engineer
can visit again at extra Charges as per the per man day rate given below. However, the remaining
payment in case any must be paid after completion of 1st visit.
Any Extra number of days would be charged at: - INR 10,000 / Day/ Engineer
Test Material: Customer to furnish test samples & material at our supplier’s office at no extra charge,
i.e., freight prepaid by customer. All customs clearing import duties & taxes, handling & other charges
incurred by supplier while receiving the samples will be billed back to the customer.

Warranty: Clearpack Parts 1 year Only Limited Warranty
Clearpack warrants to the original purchaser that its product, excluding wear and tear items will be free
from defects in material and/or workmanship for 14 Months from the date of dispatch of machine or 12
months from the date of Installation and Commissioning whichever is earlier.
During the warranty period, Clearpack will replace defective materials free of charge. Shipping costs
must be prepaid by the purchaser. Any replacement part/product shall be new or serviceably used and is
warranted for the remainder of the original warranty or thirty (30) days from the date of shipment,
whichever is longer. This warranty is limited to parts manufactured by Clearpack. All bought out
commercial parts will have the same Warranty as covered by the original manufacturer. The Parts only
Limited Warranty doesn’t cover free Service and costs associated with sending a service engineer.
This Limited Warranty covers normal use. Clearpack does not warrant or cover:
• Damage caused by failure to provide a suitable installation environment.
• Damage during shipment other than original shipment to the original purchaser.
• Damage caused by impact with other objects, dropping, falls, spilled liquids, or immersion in liquids.
• Damage caused by acts of God or disasters such as fire, flood, wind, earthquake or lightning.
• Damage caused by unauthorized attachments, alterations, modifications or foreign objects.
• Damage caused by the use of product for purposes other than those for which it was designed.
• Damage from improper maintenance.
• Damage caused by any other abuse, misuse, mishandling or misapplication.
• Parts purchased from third party vendors
• I&C Expenses: Local service engineer travelling expenses are not to be considered FOC if otherwise
agreed and approved during the negotiation. Specially during this covid situation where local transport is
very limited, the travelling cost is becoming very expensive.
Note: - Freight, local taxes and duties for items to be replaced under warrantee has to be borne by
customer
Covid Clause: Notwithstanding other provisions of the Force Majeure clause, the parties agree that the
COVID19 epidemic and its direct and indirect consequences that impede or prevent each party from

properly performing their obligations, constitute a Force Majeure, regardless of the fact that the
COVID19 epidemic was a circumstance known to the parties on the date of this Agreement.
Force Majeure :- Each Party shall be excused from performance of their obligations including LD
obligations under this PO and shall not be considered in default with respect to any obligation
hereunder, if and to the extent that a failure of, or delay in performance is due to an event of Force
Majeure, provided that the affected Party shall give notice of such event of Force Majeure to the other
Party as a precondition to claiming relief for Force Majeure, as soon as reasonably practicable. To the
extent not prevented by an event of Force Majeure, the affected Party shall: (i) continue to perform its
obligations under this PO; and (ii) use reasonable efforts to mitigate the effect of any event of Force
Majeure.
Termination: -If Buyer terminates this Purchase Order for convenience within [7] calendar days, with
mutual consent and written notice to Clearpack, no penalty, liability or further obligation shall be levied.
Otherwise below Termination charges shall apply to Buyer.

Other Charges: In the event of cancellation of orders, cancellation charges would apply. Any changes
requested by Buyer after Seller has received the original PO shall require an agreement for Price changes
and delivery date changes. A charge for storage shall be payable by the Buyer if the Buyer requests
shipment deferral beyond the date of completion. Deferral of shipment will not defer invoicing or
payment terms of order.
Clerical errors: Seller may correct any clerical errors appearing in the typed portion of this proposal at
any time.
Validity of Offer: The prices and the conditions of this offer are valid for a period of 15 days. The offered
delivery is based on our present engineering and manufacturing workload and may be subject to
variations from the time of the offer to the time of the order confirmation. Any term not mentioned
above will follow our “General Terms & Conditions of Sale dated April 30, 2018”. A copy of this is
available on request.
Exclusions: Plant utilities, steam generator etc., local freight, loading and unloading of equipment at site,
hiring of any special equipment required for moving and positioning machinery is not included in the
scope of supply. Anything not expressly mentioned in the offer is excluded from the scope of supply.
