NexGen AGU Meeting 2024
NexGen AGU Meeting 2024
NexGen AGU Meeting 2024
WHAT TO EXPECT
Prior to traveling to the United States, selected NexGen fellows will be assigned mentors and can expect
to travel to their mentor’s institution (University, Government Institutions, etc.) around November 30, 2024.
There they will be hosted, interact with, and shadow other researchers, and finalize their AGU
presentations. After a week at the mentor institution, NexGen fellows will then travel to Washington DC for
the AGU annual meeting.
In attending the AGU meeting, NexGen fellows are expected to take full advantage of the networking
opportunities throughout the week. Each fellow is also expected to present their own original research
through a poster presentation. Following AGU, fellows will return home, having established a network of
colleagues with whom they will hopefully develop future collaborations.
