Rectangular Shawl in Leaf Pattern
A shawl with a pretty textured pattern of overlapping
leaves. The edges are worked in garter stitch, and the
generous size wraps you comfortably. This subdued gray
blends in with the scenery of early autumn and will be
suitable with any outfit.
Yarn: Puppy Princess Anny

Long Cowl in Wave Pattern
The edges form gentle scallops in a traditional
pattern. The cowl is worked in the round
with a lot of stitches cast on, but there are not
many rows in each repeat. You can certainly
make the cowl deeper if you prefer. Wrap it
twice around your neck or over your head to
keep you very warm.
Yarn: Puppy Alba

Triangular Striped Shawl
Here’s a shawl for the summer with cool
colored stripes. Beginning with a cast-on of
only seven stitches, the shawl increases at
the center and both edges. Double and triple
wraps create the light, almost transparent
elongated stitches, and create a pleasant
rhythm to the work.
Yarn: Puppy Arabis

Shawl in Diagonal Pattern
A soft gray shawl with slanting ends, this
design takes advantage of the natural shaping
of a diagonal stitch. Shaping is done with a
yarnover at one edge and a decrease at the
other. The light, soft cashmere will serve you
for many years.

Handwarmers with Circle Pattern
These handwarmers have a round pattern reminiscent
of onions. The motifs by themselves have a strong
impact on a plain ground. You feel the atmosphere of
trees, soil, warmth and earth. Recommended for gifts
or for yourself.

Short Cowl
The zigzag pattern uses garter and
stockinette stitches divided by yarn-
overs for a light feeling. The width,
length and spacing of the zigzag can
be rearranged to your liking. This is
a convenient winter item that doesn’t
need much space to carry around.

Silk and Cotton Arm Covers
These long, lightweight arm covers are useful
for UV protection in the summer, and for
air-conditioned rooms. The alternation of
crossed stitches and yarnovers make the
vertical lines look sharp. The silk and cotton
yarn gives them a beautiful luster.

Flower Stitch Patterns
This section contains stitch patterns that suggest images of flowers, from
ones scattered all
over to large gorgeous decorations. It’s not hard to adjust smaller patterns
fewer stitches, so
those are recommended when your knitted item requires shaping. For lar
patterns, consider the
overall balance of your design, and plan where to begin based on the
placement of the repeats.
