GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1. A candidate coming late upto 20 minutes may be admitted to the examination hall at the discretion of the centre-in-charge. Under no
circumstances, a candidate who is late by more than 20 minutes, will be allowed to sit for the examination.
2. Within one hour from the commencement of examination, no candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall.
3. Answer papers even if blank, are to be handed over to the Invigilator and must not be left on the desk.
4. On the answer books, the candidate is to write the name of the examination, his/her University Registration Number, Examination
Roll Number only.(Under no circumstances his/her name or college/department should be mentioned.)
5. His / Her examination of any particular paper shall be cancelled unless he / she writes correct paper code and name.
6. The candidate will be allowed to carry with him to the examination hall only Admit Card, the University Registration Certificate and
drawing implements which may be required for answering questions.
7. To draw the attention of the invigilator, a candidate should only stand up. Under no circumstances any tapping of the desk will be
allowed
8. Admit card and Registration Certificate are to be shown and signature given when the invigilator / Centre-in-Charge directs. The
candidate must write on both sides of each page of the answer book.
9. If a candidate chooses wrong question paper(s) while writing the examinations then that concerned papers will be stand cancelled.
10. The candidate must not borrow drawing instruments, pencils, erasers, blotting paper etc. from others in the examination hall.
11. Notwithstanding the issue of Admit Card, the University reserves to itself the right to cancel any examination, before, during or
after such examination.
12. For any unfair means attempted or adopted by a candidate or breach of any of the rules above or any act of indiscilpline, a
candidate is liable to be expelled by the Centre-in-Charge and his examination may be cancelled by the University.
13. Any alteration made in the entries on the admit card without the Authority of the University shall render the candidate liable to be
disqualified to sit for this or any subsequent examination.
14. Correction of any kind on the admit card is required to be made before the commencement of examination.
15. Mobile/Cell Phone is strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall. General calculator (non-programmed) may be allowed in the
Examination Hall.
