Error description: Error 02 – 10: Short circuit to ground at output on valve Y2 – Y10
Error 34 -42: Interrupt at output on valve Y2 – Y10
Error 66 -74: Short circuit to plus at output on valve Y2 – Y10

Error detection: By ECU hardware, if output is activated

System response: If the error occurs during shifting, the selected gear remains engaged,
depending on the driving condition, or the ECU tries to shift to an equivalent
gear.
If both not possible, the main transmission shifts into neutral.
The transmission attempts to shift the substitute gears during standstill and
driving. Short circuited shift valve outputs are deactivated.

Error description: Error 12: Short circuit to ground on reverse light relay output
Error 44: Interruption (open circuit) or short circuit to positive on range
selector
Output to rear light relay.

Error detection: By ECU hardware, if output is activated

System response: ECU output deactivates. Rear light does not function. No other system
limitations. With short circuits to high source (+)
the rear light is continuously lit.

Error detection: through ECU hardware, if output is activated.

System response: During travel, upshifts are treated in the same way as downshifts.
Input speed is synchronized by engine speed.
Upshifts are inhibited if target speed is less than engine idling speed.
Increased shift time. Stationary: Increased teach-in time. Increased shift
times when shifting out of neutral. PTO shift time increased. The automatic
shift unit is deactivated. Manual driving mode possible.

Error description: Error 19: Short circuit to ground Y15 valve, clutch closes slowly
Error 51: Open circuit Y15 valve, clutch closes slowly
Error 83: Short circuit to high source (+) Y15 valve, clutch closes slowly

Error detection: By ECU hardware, if output is activated

System response: ECU output deactivates. Two valves are responsible for opening valves and
two are responsible for closing them (fast, slow).
If one Close/Open valve fails, the other Close/Open valve takes over this
function.

Reduced comfort when maneuvering and setting off.


If both close and open valves fail, system is not available.
The automatic shift unit is deactivated. Manual driving mode is possible.

All gearshifts are disabled by error 83. The system is not active!
If the failure occurs while vehicle is in motion, system attempts to keep the
clutch engaged.
As soon as the vehicle comes to a standstill, the clutch opens and the system
automatically shifts to Neutral.

Error rectification:

Error description: Error 22: Short circuit to ground on ADVP output


Error 54: Open circuit on ADVP output
Error 86: Short circuit to high source (+) on ADVP output

Error detection: Through ECU hardware

System response: Error 22, 54: While vehicle is in motion, gearshifts are inhibited.
The clutch opens if the vehicle comes to a standstill. At a standstill, the
system automatically shifts into Neutral. Other gear shifts not possible.
System not available.
Note: Regardless of the site at which the short circuit is produced (whether
on the n_ab1 sensor, range selector, on the GS3 or at a location on the
wiring harness), with the current system configuration this will result in the
vehicle being stranded
Error 86: System still available.

Error description: CAN engine configuration timeout

Error detection: An error is set after the message timeout

System response: Since there are no CAN message signals, the substitute signals saved in the
control unit are used.
Reduced function possible during automatic operations and starting gear
calculation.
Connecting speed for downshifts may be too low.
Poor clutch opening possible when stopping.

Error rectification:

Message is issued by the EDC.


Check whether error is saved in EDC.

Poor clutch opening possible when stopping.

Error description: Error 59: Response signal error PTO 1


Error 60: Response signal error PTO 2

Error detection: Response signal error PTO 1/2

System response: If the PTO issues a signal that the PTO is activated although the electronics
has not sent an approval signal and the PTO has not been activated by the
driver, then the response signal (PTO activated) is considered
to be incorrect. No further system limitations!

Error rectification:

Measurement with tester and/or Check PTO air supply! Air must not be removed from the PTO
Testman Pro (bodybuilder)!

Check power take-off unit. Check all PTO signals:

The vehicle can be driven with a starting gear selected in this way (forwards
and reverse).
