8. Cursor
You can click and move the vertical line cursor left or right to see x and y
values on the graph. Right-click at the cursor data display to display the
pop-up menu and select the cursor's channel.
The x value unit of the cursor is tick data, not time, so a user can calculate
the time between cursors by multiplying the number of tick deviations
between cursors by the sampling cycle.
9. Copy to Clipboard
11. Print
You can print a graph.
Select the Edit menu and then go to the Control → File I/O tabs. Click
the 'Save' button in the Data Group box to enter a file name and save,
which will save graph data as a *.dat file.
1. Tracking Enabled
If data exceeds the limit of the Y axis on the graph, scale is automatically
changed to enable or disable the graph drawing function.
2. Zoom to Fit
3. Edit
It displays a dialog box where a user can change the settings of the
Oscilloscope Windows Control. This is the same as the dialog box where a
user can save a graph as a discrete data file. It is recommended to use the
default settings.
Trigger
Because the sampling cycle of Trigger Monitor is at least 200us, a user can
monitor excessive response characteristics during operation in a more detailed
way than Analog Monitor. Only CSD3, CSD3 Plus and CSDP Plus V2.1 or
higher support it.
Setup
Trigger Channel
Click 'Trigger Channel Setup' to select a channel to monitor.
Trigger Source
Click 'Setup' in Trigger Source to select the trigger standard signal. The I/
O signal can be the standard. It is recommended to select the same
channel as one of the trigger channels.
Sampling Time
You can set the sampling cycle of trigger data. The total time spent to
draw a graph can be calculated by multiplying the division setting value by
200us and the number of data. With the default settings, a user can draw
up to 300 ms.
Trigger Data
You can set the amount of data that will be received after the completion
of the trigger data sampling.
Trigger Edge
You can select whether to capture at Positive (Rising) Edge or Negative
(Falling) Edge of the trigger source signal.
Trigger Position
You can specify the horizontal position of the trigger source signal by
dividing the entire graph
into 10 sections.
Trigger Level
You can draw a graph based on the trigger source signal corresponding to
the trigger level value
at the trigger position.
Trigger Source
The examples of Trigger Source:Velocity Feedback, Positive Edge, Trigger
Position 5, Trigger Level 5 are shown in the below picture.
Start
If a user clicks the 'Start' button, 'Triggering...' blinks until servo drive buffers
trigger data. When 'Trigger OK' appears, drawing a graph begins after
receiving the buffered data.
The graph below shows the result of setting Trigger Source as Speed
Instruction, Division as 5, Amount of Data as 30, Trigger Edge as Positive,
Trigger Position as 50% and Trigger Level as 5. The speed instruction is rising
in the middle of the graph.

You can open the combo list for channel selection and set channels. CSD3
Plus does not support regenerative current. Only CSD3 supports it.
Load
Clicking the 'Load' button will receive data saved at the time of an error and
make a graph. You need to click the 'Load' button more than twice to create a
perfect graph because of the Auto Tracking function of a graph.
Reset
It functions in the same way as in Analog Monitor.
The graph below shows Speed Feedback (CH1), Torque Instruction (CH2)
and DC Bus Voltage (CH3). Three Y axes indicate CH1, CH2 and CH3 from
the right.

Click the 'Fault History Clear' button to delete the fault history saved in servo
drive.
Reload
Click the 'Reload' button to update the fault history and system information.
Jog You can use SmartJog to execute special functions that servo drive can execute
independently.
Jog Operation
This function operates servo drive independently without using the higher
control device. Clicking the 'Jog On' button in servo-OFF state will turn servo
on and switch to Jog operation mode. Clicking the 'Forward' button will make
a counterclockwise rotation, and Clicking the 'Reverse' button will make a
clockwise rotation.
Clicking the 'Save' button after changing the value in the Velocity field will
change the operation speed. Or a user can change the operation speed with the
Jog operation speed parameter in the Parameter Group2 related to speed
control. The acceleration/deceleration time parameter is also applied.
Test Run
You can remove the offset of the analog speed/torque instruction voltage. It is
recommended to use it in servo-ON state.
You can adjust the offset of the analog speed/torque instruction voltage
manually. Click the 'Increase' button to increase the offset counterclockwise.
Click the 'Decrease' button to increase the offset clockwise. Click the 'Save'
button to save the adjusted offset value. For CSD3 and CSD3 Plus, click 'ESC'
to restore the adjusted offset back to the previous value.
Auto Tuning
You can estimate the load inertia moment as compared with the motor shaft.
Make several forward/reverse operations repeatedly. For CSD3 Plus V3.00 or
higher, generate weak vibration to detect the resonance frequency after several
forward/reverse rotations.
Parameter Reset
Fault Reset
It resets faults.
You can set variables of the D/A output for CSDJ Plus and CSDP. CSD3,
CSD3 Plus and CSDP Plus do not support it.
You can remove the offset of Analog to Digital Converter which measures
motor current. Only CSD3 and CSD3 Plus support it.
Homing
If a user clicks the 'Homing' button in servo-ON state, the motor rotates until
Z-pulse is outputted. The motor stops when Z-pulse is outputted. Only CSD3
and CSD3 Plus support it.
You can back up the basic gains for CSD3 and CSD3 Plus, namely Pr-1.01, 02,
03, 04 and 05, in Pr-6.11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, respectively. Only CSD3 and
CSD3 Plus support it.
You can reset the multi-turn data and fault flag of an absolute encoder. For
absolute encoder-related faults, a user needs to click 'Fault Reset' separately
after Absolute Encoder Reset. Only CSD3 and CSD3 Plus support it.
Drive Reboot
You can reset DSP by generating Watchdog Overflow forcibly. This functions
in the same way as re-supplying power to servo drive. Only CSD3 Plus V2.7 or
higher supports it.
Indexing The CSD3 Plus Servo Drive provides position control for one axis without a
motion controller. Firmware Version 7.10 is required to use indexing. Refer to
the CSD3 Plus Servo Drive Indexing Function User Manual (CSD3P-UM002) for
more information about indexing.
Index Table
You can set up the positions, units, and velocity profiles for max. 8 positions.
Unit
Position Unit. When the 1st digit of Pr-0.18 is '0', the unit is 'pulse'. If it is '1',
the unit is 'User Unit'.
User Unit
The reference values which are used for unit conversion between user
unit(μm) and 'pulse' are dispalyed.
• User reference: A μm = B pulses
• Pulse
display the value of Pr-0.23
• um
display the value of Pr-0.24
Clear All
Displays all the values in the Index Table as '0'. There is no change to the value
of each parameter, but only its display is cleared to '0'.
Load Default
Reads the inital values of the parameters in the Index Table. The value of each
parameter is not reset to its initial value, but only its display is reset to its initial
value.
Teaching
Jog Operation
Speed operation without a motion controller. A user can click Jog On button
in Servo-OFF status, then the status is changed to Servo-ON and the
operation mode becomes Jog operation. Clicking Forward button causes CCW
rotation and clicking Reverse button causes CW rotation.
If a user wants to change velocity, chanage velocity in the Velocity editing box
window and click save button. A user can change velocity with Jog Operation
Velocity parameter in the Velocity Control Parameter Group 2. This is also
applicable to acceleration/deceleration time parameter.
Current Position
Displays current position. This is displayed even during Servo-OFF or
Incomplete Homing.
Unit
Displays Position Unit.
Index Position
When a user selects the Check Box beside Index Position POS#1~8, the
Current Position value of Jog Operation의 Current Position is displayed in the
Index Position. When a user deselects the Check Box, there is no change to the
display.
