Each book covers a set of nine nakshatras from Ashwini to
Asresha, Magha to Jyesta and Mula to Revati.
The descriptions used in this book are referred from the Tamil
collection of Nakshatras book "Nakshatra Chinthamani" by Dr.
PullipaaniSundaraVaradachariyaar. The slokas or verses used in
this book are from the Palm leaf manuscript, "Marana
Kandigai". Marana Kandigai manuscript contains crisp yet
detailed descriptions on nakshatras and padas. Apart from the
description of the nakshatras, this manuscript also describes the
final exit of a person. And this is the reason it is named Marana
Kandigai meaning descriptions of death. The palm leaf
numbered 1500 of Marana Kandigai, 222 of Nakshatra Malai,
850 of Nakshatra Chudamani and 2294 of Nakshatra Pada
palan are the references of the slokas or verses used in this

Saptarishis Publications
book. The Marana Kandigai is a preserved palm leaf manuscript
patented and available in the Saraswathi Mahal library.
Though the following is beyond the scope of this book, I would
like to mention how the nakshatra padas are helpings us not to
get ourselves trapped in the potholes throughout our life.
The other manuscripts also contain the sins and punishments of
the person born in each nakshatra and the padas which
constitutes the area of past life astrology. For example, a person
born in Jyesta nakshatra 2nd pada did not give inheritance to his
sons. He left his elder son with nothing and at least gave some
to the_younger son and died in the previous birth. In the current
birth this person is punished with no bloodline and suffered
with chronic skin diseases.
Another example, a person born in Magha nakshatra pada 4
was an atheist and did not respect Gods, Goddess or his
ancestors. He never offered shraad to his ancestors in the past
life. So, he is punished in this life with one daughter who also

Each book covers a set of nine nakshatras from Ashwini to

Asresha, Magha to Jyesta and Mula to Revati.

collection of Nakshatras book "Nakshatra Chinthamani" by Dr.

PullipaaniSundaraVaradachariyaar. The slokas or verses used in

this book are from the Palm leaf manuscript, "Marana

Kandigai". Marana Kandigai manuscript contains crisp yet

detailed descriptions on nakshatras and padas. Apart from the

description of the nakshatras, this manuscript also describes the

final exit of a person. And this is the reason it is named Marana

Kandigai meaning descriptions of death. The palm leaf

numbered 1500 of Marana Kandigai, 222 of Nakshatra Malai,

850 of Nakshatra Chudamani and 2294 of Nakshatra Pada

palan are the references of the slokas or verses used in this

book. The Marana Kandigai is a preserved palm leaf manuscript

patented and available in the Saraswathi Mahal library.

Though the following is beyond the scope of this book, I would

like to mention how the nakshatra padas are helpings us not to

get ourselves trapped in the potholes throughout our life.

The other manuscripts also contain the sins and punishments of

the person born in each nakshatra and the padas which

constitutes the area of past life astrology. For example, a person

to the_younger son and died in the previous birth. In the current

birth this person is punished with no bloodline and suffered

with chronic skin diseases.

Another example, a person born in Magha nakshatra pada 4

was an atheist and did not respect Gods, Goddess or his

ancestors. He never offered shraad to his ancestors in the past
