    Development Formulation CCG0012

    Chlorothalonil 400 g/L SC


    Suspension concentrate incorporating chlorothalonil, a broad spectrum contact fungicide.
    Long term stability is achieved by the use of polymeric surfactants Atlox™ 4913 and
    Atlox™ 4894.

    Method
    1. Combine ingredients in Phase A using low shear mixing. Mill the slurry using a suitable bead mill
    until the desired particle size 5-10um d(0.9) is obtained.
    2. Pre-mix Phase B ingredients to pre-disperse and pre-wet xanthan gum. Slowly add Phase A to
    Phase B with low shear mixing followed by high shear mixing (typically 10,000 rpm for 1 minute).
