    SM 20

    PP Melt Flow Rate Modifier

    SM 20 is organic peroxide masterbatch in PP matrix manufactured by unique & special


    compounds technologies. SM 20 is used as additives to increase the MFR of PP during the
    extruding and injection process. It allows a controlled Rheology or degradation of PP
    leading to narrow molecular weight distribution.

    Applications

    To make controlled-rheology Polypropylene(CR PP), increase melt flow rate for PP.
    - PP manufacturers
    - PP recyclers
    - GMT / LFT
    - PP fibers, Non-woven from Melt Blown & Spunbond process.

    Depends of Peroxide contents (%), we have different grade available.

    *Different Peroxide contents (%) product is available upon customer’s request. Above
    peroxide contents (%) are not final Peroxide contents (%). During the process, small parts
    of peroxide react with base PP and final contents (%) of peroxide shows little lower % than
    above.

    Typical Use (Dosage)

    The below dosage is just for your reference. The final result may vary depends on type of equipment
    and PP.

    Above is experimental result for Homo PP by 30mm sing screw extruder at 230℃

    Storage

    The product must be kept in dry and cool area without direct sunlight. Also store it away from heat
    or sparks. We recommend storing at 40C less.
    It is recommended to use the product within 6 months in the original sealed container at the above
    recommended conditions, which is from the storage standard of peroxide.
