Each exercise is to be practiced using different string
combinations. Example replace 6 with 5, then 4, then 3, then 2
and finally 1. Do each exercise multiple times.

Hammer ons, Pull offs and Bends

The following exercises will introduce you to three of the most important
techniques used by guitarists to create what we call ‘feel’. At first they will feel
awkward and not so pleasant to the ear but as you gain control your feel will
begin to take shape.

With the hammer ons and pull offs use the corresponding fingers. i.e. 1st finger
1st fret, 2nd finger 2nd fret and so on. Repeat these exercise on each string.

With bends practice bending the note up a semitone at first and later a tone.
Most bends are either a semitone or tone so try practicing on scales.
