Objective of the Session 1. Explain the historical roots of the DepEd core
value “Makabansa”,analyzing its role in shaping
national identity and fostering patriotism among
learners.
2. Develop strategies for integrating the value of
“Makabansa” across various subjects and
extracurricular activities within the educational
curriculum,aiming to instill a sense of civic
responsibility and love fpr the country among the
learners.

A recap for the different indicators and
manifestations of DepEd core values focusing
on Makakalikasan that will bridge the
assessment of teachers to themselves as to
students and what gender equality do to
what we called sustainability that can be a
helped for a long term solution for nowadays
issue in our environment.
- WORKSHOP:
The speaker will group the participants
into 4 groups and they will be giving an
enough time to share what are their
advocacies in helping our environment.
It will be in form of maybe a skit,
simple video vlogging, and alike they
are allowed to roam around to have a
place and sceneries to inspire them to
do the said workshop.

Target Participants Unisan Integrated High School Teaching and Non-Teaching

Objectives 1. Guide the teachers identify learners who needs
psychosocial support from the school and identify the
GAD awareness and other related laws, issues, and
concerns.
2. Promote the learner’s effective development and to better
understand his/her situation and context.
3. Reinforce equality within and outside the school.
4. Reconstitution of the GFPS and explain its roles and
responsibilities.
5. Reiterate the indicators and manifestations of the Core
Values-Maka-Tao.
Key Understanding “Maka-Tao” is one of the DepEd’s core values emphasizing a
commitment to human dignity and respect for all individuals
regardless of gender. In relation to Gender and Development
(GAD), it means fostering an environment where everyone’s
rights, needs, and contributions are acknowledged and valued
equally, irrespective of gender. This includes promoting gender
equality in education, ensuring equitable opportunities for all
students and staff, and addressing gender-based discrimination
and stereotypes within the educational system.
