1. That The Marriage Was Solemnized Between Nisha and Aryan According to Hindu Rites and
Ceremonies After the Commencement of The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 On 05.05.2024 At Mumbai.
The Said Marriage Is Registered with Registrar of Marriage. A Certified Copy of The Relevant Extract
from The Hindu Marriage Register Is Filed Herewith.
2. That The Status and Place of Residence of The Parties to The Marriage Before the Marriage and At the
Time of Filing the Petition Are as Follows:

3. That, after the marriage, Nisha discovered that Aryan was unemployed and entirely reliant on his
parents for financial support. Three months into the marriage, Aryan demanded that Nisha bring Rs. 8
lakhs from her parents to invest in a new business venture he wanted to start. Nisha refused, leading to
her being subjected to mental and physical torture by Aryan. this harassment for money persisted over
next eight months, resulting in Nisha being hospitalized on one occasion due to severe abuse. after
being discharged from the hospital she moved back to her parental home. despite her departure, Aryan
made no attempts to reconcile or bring her back.
4. That, one day Nisha visited her matrimonial home with her sister to collect her personal belongings and
jewelry. However, both were insulted and denied access to her possessions.
5. That, Nisha is seeking a divorce on the grounds of cruelty and is eager to start a new chapter in her life
by securing employment, as she holds an MBA from the University of Mumbai.
6. That, the petition is not presented in collusion with the respondent.
7. That, there has not been any unnecessary or improper delay in filing the petition.
8. That, there is not other legal ground why relief should not be granted.
9. That, there have not been any previous proceedings with regard to the marriage by or on behalf of any
part.
10. That, the marriage has been solemnized at Mumbai.
11. That, the parties last resided together at Bandra(west).
12. That, the parties are now residing at Bandra(west) and Andheri. (Within the local limits of the ordinary
original jurisdiction of this Court.)
13. That, this Hon’ble Court has jurisdiction to try and entertain this petition.
PRAYER:
In the view of the above facts and circumstances, it is , therefore , most respectfully and humbly prayed
that this Hon’ble Court may pleased to grant a decree of divorce under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage
Act, 1955 in favor of petitioner.
Any other relief/order/Direction this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice and equity.
