DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
1
The proposal with special features described herein has been carefully worked out to take into account:
Present day crisis of energy / resources
Statutory requirements on Pollution
Overall plant economics
This is possible due to various features enlisted below, which individually add to Cost of the plant.
This is also the reason why our plant cost is higher on comparative basis.
The Salient features of the plant and their interpretation in terms of what they mean to the customer:
Eliminates the transfer pumps in between the effects, thereby reducing the
maintenance problems as well as the requirement of space & power.
ANNEXURE
The Condensate from each effect is flashed successively at lower pressure &
the flash vapors are used for carrying out the evaporation in the next stage.
With this arrangement, the steam economy is further enhanced.
Hot Water available is free from contamination and can be used in Process
/ Boiler. Converts waste heat into useful one, making Recovery Plant work as
hot water generator.
In such case, the mess associated with cooling tower, pump, sump & water
piping can totally be eliminated. It also results in Power saving.
Research and Development form the continued activity at our end, to better our own product every time.
In our commitment to offer to our customers the most upgraded version, we reserve our right to modify
the plant equipment specifications without affecting the plant parameters adversely.

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

FEED The weak liquor from the storage tank and pumping system is pumped to
the filter unit, Feed Preheaters and then enters
the Flash Vessel of the Evaporation system.
The System is designed as Forward Feed, with feed travelling as: 1234
Vapors from the Flash Vessel1 are fed to the Heater2 and Preheater1
Vapors from the Flash Vessel2 are fed to the Heater3 and Preheater2
Vapors from the Flash Vessel3 are fed to the Heater4 and Preheater3
LIQUOR The liquor from gets transferred from Flash Vessel to Flash Vessel in 1234
sequence. Finally, the concentrated liquor from the last Flash Vessel is discharged
by the Product Pump to the Storage Tank.
CONDENSATE The condensate from the all the Heaters, Surface Condenser
Water Heater are flashed in Multi-stage Condensate Flashing System
and the flash steam is used to enhance the Steam economy of the System.

Since the nature and corrosiveness of effluents is likely to vary from time to time
and since it is individual Company's prerogative to make selection of
Material of Construction on considering the Initial Cost Vs Replacement Frequency,
we greatly rely on Customers' feedback & preferances on such subject.
The indicated selection is made on such basis.
