    Good morning Mdm Chow, Dr Oh, Mr Cheong, teachers and fellow NC-zens.

    In April this year, 106 students took part in the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) 2024
    where the top 40% of all participants in Singapore will receive an award certificate and a medal. We are
    pleased to share with you the outstanding results, where a total of 48 students achieved the gold, silver and
    bronze award.

    We would like to invite Mdm Chow to present the certificates and medals to these students. Mdm Chow,

    Separately, 4 students took part in the International Mathematical Modelling Challenge in March. The challenge
    required the team to analyze, hypothesize, test, and develop a working solution to solve a real-world problem.

    This year, our Nan Chiau team produced a mathematical paper to develop a deterministic model for ascertaining
    the readiness of households for pet ownership and extending the model to project future pet ownership across
    different geographical regions. After five consecutive days of intense brainstorming, coding and report writing,
    the team submitted the completed paper to the panel of judges.

    We are pleased to share that the team clinched the merit award. May we please invite Mdm. Chow to present
    the certificates to the following students:
