9.3 Proper communication in between operator and rigger shall be
carried out during the lifting.
9.4 Load must be clarifying before lift.
9.5 Permit to work must be approved by the concern authority.
9.6 Boom area must be clear to keep the safe distance from
electrical lines and cable lines, proper monitoring must be there.
9.7 Ensure know the weight and size of material to be lift in advance.

12.4 Emergency Contact numbers must be displayed all over the
area to utilized in case of emergency.

13 All hand tools must be inspected by the person who’ll be using
them prior to be used.
13.01 All damaged tools will be removed from site and replaced by
new one. No one is allowed to use an improper hand tool.
13.02 Mandatory PPE (hard hat, safety glass, safety shoes, and
hand gloves) to be worn at all times while working.
13.03 Mason who will use any type of power tool must be
competent.
13.04 The machine being used must be inspected on a daily basis
prior to be used.
13.05 The machine being used must have a good condition
emergency stop switch (dead man switch), with good condition
working start and stop switch. All switches must be color coded
and labeled.
13.06 Cable management to be implemented.
13.07 All power tools must be inspected on a daily basis prior to be
used.

stored and disposed in accordance with GI 430.001.
14.02 Waste material shall be segregated at all times in
accordance with waste handling requirement.
14.03 Trash containers shall be of durable construction and shall
be located as needed throughout the work area.
14.04 Trash containers shall be covered, clearly marked and
emptied daily. Separate trash containers, with suitable
disposable plastic liners, shall be provided for food scraps and
other organic matter.
14.05 All hazardous and nonhazardous waste shall be properly
disposed to the approved waste disposal facility by approved
waste hauler and shall be documented.
14.06 All equipment shall be inspected by the operators or the
competent mechanic for evidence of leakage.
15 All power tools will be used only by a competent person. It’s up
to the foreman and/or line manager to check the competency of
the worker.
15.01 All power tools shall be inspected on a daily basis prior to be
inspected.
15.02 Damaged power tools shall not be allowed to use at site. The
damages will be reported to the assigned safety officer and the
power tool will be removed from site. (The damages will
include, but not limited to, broken switch, substandard wiring,
etc.).
15.03 All cable extensions will be arranged and extended by
electricians only. The electrician will make sure that the cable
extension is in good condition free from any defects or
substandard connections.

15.04 No cables will be fixed conductor material or structure, such
as: scaffold, fence, etc. if so than the cable must be protected
by non-conductor material such as PVC pipe.
15.05 Cable arrangements will be implemented at site. All cables
will be buried under ground where possible, after being isolated
by non-conductor material such as flexible or non-flexible PVC
pipes.
15.06 All generators will be guarded (barricaded), and will be
installed under a shade, inside the spill tray or bund area. No
one is allowed to switch on the generator, switch it off, maintain
it, connect wires, etc. other than the electrician.
15.07 Daily inspection to be made for the generator. The generator
will be serviced and maintained periodically.
15.08 The machinery used such as air compressor, must be
located away in a designated, barricaded with signage installed
and emergency contact list.
15.09 The machine being used must have a good condition
emergency stop switch (dead man switch), with good condition
working start and stop switch. All switches must be color coded
and labeled.

9 House Keeping

equipment required for the project (safety helmet, safety
glasses, high visibility vest, safety shoes) and for the specific
activity being carried out (e.g. abrasion leather gloves).

4. Ambulance inspection checklist shall be kept inside the
ambulance at all times.
4.1 Ambulance inspection checklist shall include all emergency
provisions regarding the medical equipment, and shall have a
revision number, date and signature.
4.2 Ambulance inspection checklist shall be translated to the
language of the ambulance driver. Driver shall perform
inspection of the ambulance on a

2.2 Vehicle shall be properly equipped for remote areas before
operating in remote locations.
2.3 Reflective triangles shall be used to warn approaching traffic
if vehicle is damaged, is blocking traffic or is stopped on the
road.
2.4 Vehicles shall not be left unattended while engine is running

to monitor the travel time.

manufacturer’s design specification for the vehicle.
