ZOHO CORPORATION, CHENNAI – INTERNSHIP CUM CAMPUS DRIVE – 16.04.2019 & 17.04.2019
ROLE: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER @ CHENNAI
The M/s. Zoho Corporation, Chennai has conducted the internship cum campus drive at
our institute auditorium on 16.04.2019 (Tuesday). Approximately 500+ students of our institute
have participated in the internship drive process. In the internship process, 52 students from
Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department have attended the drive.

DATA PATTERN, CHENNAI –CAMPUS DRIVE – 31.05.2019
ROLE: ENGINEER TRAINEE
The M/s.Data Patten, Chennai has conducted the campus drive at our institute assembly
hall on 31.05.2019 (Friday) for the passed out student (2015-2019 Batch). Approximately 150+
students participated in the drive process. Among that, 15-20 students from Electrical and
Electronics Engineering Department attended the drive and Mr.S.ARUNKUMAR got selected and
received offer.

ACADEMIC YEAR (2019-2020) – GENERAL PLACEMENT MEETING–INSTRUCTIONS–03.06.2019

ROLE: HOD, PLACEMENT COORDINATOR, TUTOR AND CLASS IN-CHARGES
The Placement General Meeting has been conducted at EEE Department Seminar Hall on
03.06.2019 (Monday) with the final year students to pass on the information of the placement
activities and the instructions to be followed during the campus drive. DR.M.WILLJUICE
IRUTHAYARAJAN HOE/EEE has briefed the instructions of the placement drive and the steps
taken by the college training placement and counseling cell towards the career settlement of our
college students. In continuation with that, DR.N.B.PRAKASH Dept. Placement Coordinator has
summarized the statistical data and the need of the student’s attitude and mindset from the
beginning of the final year. Moreover, we inculcate the students to have consistent way of
preparation and learning to achieve our target i.e 100% career settlement. The meeting starts by
09.30 Hrs and ends by 11.00 Hrs.

FINAL YEAR TRAINING PROGRAM – 03.06.2019 TO 07.06.2019 & 10.06.2019 TO 14.06.2019
The Training placement and Counseling Cell of our college has planned and provided
aptitude training to all our final year students of our college from 03.06.2019 – 07.06.2019. The
trainers are from M/S. CONNECT, TIRUNELVELI AND M/S. INNATE TALENT, CHENNAI. Our EEE
Department Students have attended the training program at EEE Seminar Hall, EEE Lecture Hall
No. 5, TCP Tainting Hall-I and II on the above date and time. After completion of the aptitude
training program, department has been informed to conduct the technical training program as
per the TCP cell circular ref.01/19-20 dated: 28.05.2019 from 10.06.2019 to 14.06.2019. The
department head and the placement coordinator has coordinated and prepared the technical
training program schedule and circulated among the faculty and students.

TESSOLVE CAMPUS DRIVE PRELIMINARY PREPARATION –14.06.2019, 18.06.2019 & 25.06.2019
With reference to the information received from TCP Cell, it has been understood that
M/s. Tessolve, Bangalore is visiting our campus on 27.06.2019 & 28.06.2019 for recruitment. In
this regard, initiation has been taken by our department by inviting our alumni
Mr.MATHANAGOPAL working as Testing Engineer @ Tessolve, Bangalore to provide awareness
about the selection process and the subjects to be focused mainly for Tessolve. Then preliminary
examination has been conducted for the Tessolve eligible students on 18.06.2019 at Seminar Hall
and Lecture Hall. Mr.M.GENGARAJ, Mr.K.KUMAR, coordinated the examination on behalf of the
department TCP. Then as a continuation process Mock Interview has been planned and scheduled
on 25.06.2019 to provide and check the student’s competency level. Four panels have been
formed at different venues and conducted the mock interview. Mr.B.VIGNESHWARAN and
Mr.K.KUMAR coordinated the mock interview under the guidance of Dr.N.B.PRAKASH and
Dr.M.WILLJUICE IRUTHAYARAJAN.

PLACEMENT FIRST REVIEW MEETING – 26.06.2019
The First review meeting w.r.t placement activity was conducted on 26.06.2019 with
Principal, Head of Department, Class In-charges, Tutors and Department Placement Coordinators
are TECH PARK (New Placement Office) Seminar Hall from 10.00 Hrs to 12.00 Hrs. Principal
briefed about the need of current trends and 100% career settlement target has to be attained by
this academic year 2019-2020. Then Dean Placement has come out with the list of companies
forthcoming for campus drive at our campus. Then the database of the entire department has
been verified from the placement coordinators and Head of departments. Finally the dress code
of the students has been discussed and will be implemented shortly after having due discussion
with all the faculty members.

TESSOLVE CAMPUS DRIVE –TCP CELL AND CSE DEPARTMENT – 27.06.2019 & 28.06.2019
M/s. Tessolve, Bangalore has conducted on campus drive on 27.06.2019 for our students
at TCP Cell and CSE Department of our college. The online examination has been started by 09.30
Hrs at the computer labs of CSE Department and approximately 400+ students participated in the
campus drive. Students from nearby college were also participated in the drive process. The
tutors, Class In-charges and Dept. Placement Coordinator and Faculty assist coordinated the drive
by monitoring the students and guiding them towards venue and looking after the invigilation
duty for the online examination.

TESSOLVE CAMPUS DRIVE –TECHNICAL INTERVIEW–28.06.2019 (CENTRAL LIBRARY)

M/s. Tessolve, Bangalore has conducted the technical interview for the selected students
(66 Students from NEC, 35 from EEE, 22 from ECE and 09 from EIE) on 28.06.2019 at our college
central library from 09.00 Hrs to 18.30 Hrs. Pre-placement talk has been given by the company
president at library seminar hall and then the students were called for technical round consisting
of 10 panels at reading hall & other chambers. Approximately 20 students has cleared three
rounds and attended the HR round. The results are expected to be released on 1st July 2019. Our
Principal DR.K.KALIDAS MURUGAVEL interacted with the Vice President of M/s. Tessolve and has
received the feedback of the college students. Apart from that HOD/EEE DR.M.WILLJUICE
IRUTHAYARAJAN and other faculty members interacted with company officials and got the
information of the students & industry perception.

 For the TCS Company Specific Training Program meeting the following faculty members along with Head of
Department attended the meeting. In the meeting it was unanimously decided to permit the students to undergo
training program arranged by the TCP cell of our college. In this regard, it was decided to suspend the classes for the
final year students from 15.07.2019 to 20.07.2019 to get prepare for the TCS Ninja Examination and to undergo the
Connect training program scheduled from 16.07.2019 to 20.07.2019 at TECH PARK TCP Cell.

TCS AND CADENCE TRAINING PROGRAM – EEE DEPARTMENT – SEMINAR HALL – 10.07.2019
Our EEE Department has requested HOD/CSE to depute a faculty to refresh the C & C+ programming for our
TCS eligible students positively on 10.07.2019. With the request made HOD/CSE deputed MRS.THAMARAISELVI
AP/CSE DEPT. for handling the class on C & C+ programming at EEE Seminar Hall from 11.15 Hrs to 12.50 Hrs.

Later on Verbal, Aptitude and Vocabulary training has been requested to HOD/S&H and based on our
request HOD/S&H deputed MS. JEBA AP/S&H and MR. NANDHAKUMAR AP/S&H and handled the classes from 13.50
Hrs to 15.30 Hrs at EEE Seminar Hall. With the continuation MR.K.KUMAR AP/EEE handled the classes on Digital
Electronics Circuits for the Cadence eligible students from 15.45 Hrs to 17.15 Hrs at EEE Seminar Hall.

The off campus drive of M/s. E-Con Systems, Chennai was scheduled at MEPCO Engg.
College, Sivakasi on 22.07.2019. Forty students from our college (EEE-8, ECE-8, CSE-8, EIE-8, IT-
8) participated in the drive. Mr.N.SANKAR, Assistant Professor, EEE Department accompany with
the students on 22.07.2019. The drive went for one full day up-to night 11.20PM. Finally the

For the shortlisted students, our college TCP cell has arranged a general meeting with
Head of Institution on 13.08.2019 to motivate the students towards 100% achievement in TCS.
Also to improve the confidence level of the students the students has been requested to spell out
the facilities needed towards TCS drive. The students requested for preparation time of two days
and alumni interaction and mock interview.

 Based on the request made MR.V.MANIMARAN Placement Convener invited NEC TCS
alumni on 16.08.2019 and has made interaction with students at EEE Seminar Hall and with
placement coordinators at conference hall along with Head of Institution.

In addition to that, EEE department has conducted a self introduction and general mock
interview on 16.08.2019 with DR.N.B.PRAKASH and MR.N.SANKAR at Microprocessor and
Microcontroller lab. Also placement convener and EEE department placement coordinator has
arranged a mock interview for all the department students at TCP centre on 17.08.2019 with the
subject expert, software skill faculty and English faculty in one panel. Similarly six panels have
been framed and the instruction has been clearly explained to the panel members and the
interview has been conducted as per the code of conduct of TCS. The students felt that after
attending the interview our confidence level has been increased and convey their thanks and
regards for the conduction of this interview.

The coordinators meeting have been held with the Principal and Dean Placement along

JUSTDIAL DRIVE @ KLNCE, MADURAI ON 17.10.2019
The Justdial company placement drive was conducted at KLN College of Engineering
Madurai on 17.10.2019. Five of our EEE Department students attended the drive. Among the five

CTS REFRESHER TRAINING PROGRAM ON 18.10.2019

The shortlisted EEE students are given refresher training on 18.10.2019 at our
department computer lab and students have given on other duty for the preparation of CTS drive
