observations.
Teacher’s Major Key guide for Observation (Carefully look for the
Responsibility indicators/behaviors of the teacher along the key points. Write your
observations and description in your notebook. This will be one of
your artifacts.)

ANALYZE

Refer to the results of your observation to answer the questions that follow.

1. Which of the three responsibilities shows majority if the indicators being practiced? a.
Actual Teaching?
b. Management of Learning?
c. Administrative Work?
Among the three responsibilities, actual teaching shows a majority in the class
because the teacher focuses on the core activity directly related to facilitating student
learning. The primary focus of the teacher is to deliver instructional content, engage
with students, and create an environment conducive to learning. Her actual teaching
involves planning lessons, delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and assessing
student understanding.

2. Which demonstrated behavior, do you find in the teacher that is worthy of emulation when
you become a teacher? Describe.
The demonstrated behavior of the teacher that is worth emulating is how she
prioritizes the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment, which builds
meaningful relationships with students, encourages engagement, and models
lifelong learning. These behaviors contribute not only to academic success but also
to the overall well-being and development of students.

3. Which of the major responsibilities does this teacher find difficult to comply with? What
are the reasons?
Managing learning is one of the major responsibility of the teacher that is hard to
comply with because it involves navigating diverse student needs, maintaining
discipline, and overcoming resource and time constraints. Teachers may find it
difficult to comply with this responsibility due to a combination of different factors,
and addressing these challenges often requires ongoing professional development,
support, and adaptive teaching strategies.

4. From this perspective, would you consider this teacher as a quality teacher? Why?
Yes, even though there are some responsibilities that the teacher finds difficult to
comply with, it doesn't make her less of a quality teacher. A teacher's quality is not
solely determined by their ability to effortlessly handle every aspect of their
responsibilities. Instead, it is often measured by their commitment, adaptability, and
continuous efforts to enhance their teaching practices.

REFLECT

Now, that you have spent one school day observing this teacher, it would be good for you
to reflect on all your observations by answering the reflective questions below.

1. Are you inspired to become a teacher after your observation? If yes, why? If No, why
not?
Yes, after observing the classes of my cooperating teacher (CT), I feel that I am called
to be a teacher, and it's a nice feeling. Despite the occasional chaos in the classroom,
I find the experience to be both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Witnessing the
dedication of my CT to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment,
building meaningful connections with students, and adapting to the dynamic nature
of the classroom has been truly inspiring. The challenges, such as managing diverse
student needs and maintaining discipline, seem like opportunities for growth rather
than obstacles. The ability to foster engagement and make the learning experience
enjoyable, even in the midst of chaos, has shown me the transformative power of
effective teaching.

2. When you become a teacher in the future, how else would you do better as a
professional teacher?
When I envision myself as a future teacher, one of the key aspects I aim to prioritize
is building strong connections with my students. While I understand the significance
of the three major responsibilities—actual teaching, management of learning, and
administrative work—I believe that establishing a genuine connection with students
is foundational to the entire teaching process. My goal is to create a classroom
environment where students feel not only safe and acknowledged but also inspired
and motivated to learn. By fostering meaningful relationships, I aim to create a sense
of trust and openness that will enhance the overall learning experience.

3. What are some of the concerns that you foresee in the future as a quality teacher?
Do you think you will be ready to address these? Give at least 2 concerns.
As I look ahead to being a quality teacher in the future, I have a couple of concerns
that I want to be ready for. First, I know that education is always changing, with new
technology and different ways of teaching. So, I need to keep learning and stay
updated to give my students the best and most interesting education. Second, I'm
thinking about how to meet the needs of all my students and make sure everyone
feels welcome. People have different backgrounds, and I want to be flexible and
understanding of the unique ways they learn. It's not just about knowing different
cultures but also creating a classroom where everyone feels valued and heard. I'm
committed to learning and adapting so that I can handle these challenges well and
create a positive learning environment for all my students.

4. In what aspects of the teacher’s day, would you like to congratulate the teacher you
observed? Can you show your appreciation to this teacher by sending a Thank you
card? (include this in your artifact)

REFLECT

Based on the task that you made, what challenges await you as a future teacher? How
will you manage learning in the future classroom? How will you prepare yourself to respond
to 21st teaching-learning and become a global teacher?
Make a short paragraph on how will you manage teaching-learning in the 21st century
classroom.

In the 21st-century classroom, I expect to encounter challenges related to integrating

advanced technology, accommodating diverse learning styles, and preparing students for
a globalized environment. To effectively navigate these challenges, I intend to adopt
modern teaching methods that leverage technology for enhanced engagement and
interactive learning experiences. This involves incorporating multimedia resources, online
collaboration tools, and adaptive learning platforms tailored to individual student needs.
Moreover, I acknowledge the significance of promoting a student-centered approach,
fostering critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. To ready myself for the demands of
21st-century teaching, I am dedicated to ongoing professional development, staying
abreast of educational trends, and improving my technological skills. By creating a dynamic
and inclusive learning environment reflective of contemporary realities, my goal is to
empower students with the skills necessary to thrive in our continually evolving global
society.
