    A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE PROJECT PROPOSAL OF THE SANGGUNIANG


    KABATAAN OF BARANGAY KAGAWASAN, REQUESTING FINANCIAL
    ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT FROM THE CITY MAYOR FOR THE RENOVATION
    OF THE OLD BARANGAY HALL INTO A SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OFFICE

    WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Kagawasan acknowledges the urgent
    need for a dedicated and proper office space to better serve the youth of the community;

    WHEREAS, the current condition of the old barangay hall is inadequate and insufficient to
    accommodate the increasing demands and activities of the SK, hindering its capacity to
    effectively engage with the youth and address their concerns;

    WHEREAS, establishing a renovated Sangguniang Kabataan office would not only provide a
    conducive environment for youth programs and activities but also symbolize the commitment of
    the barangay to the welfare and development of its young constituents;

    WHEREAS, the project proposal presented by the SK of Barangay Kagawasan demonstrates


    careful planning and thoughtful consideration of the needs and aspirations of the youth,
    reflecting their dedication to serving the community;

    WHEREAS, financial assistance and support from the Honorable City Mayor are essential to
    realize this project and uplift the capabilities of the Sangguniang Kabataan in fulfilling its
    mandate;

    WHEREAS, investing in the renovation of the old barangay hall into a Sangguniang Kabataan
    office aligns with the goals of promoting youth empowerment, participation, and leadership,
    contributing to the overall progress and vitality of Barangay Kagawasan;

    WHEREAS, endorsing the project proposal of the SK of Barangay Kagawasan and soliciting
    financial assistance and support for the renovation of the old barangay hall into a Sangguniang
    Kabataan office reflects the collective commitment of the barangay council to prioritize the
    needs and aspirations of the youth;

    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this esteemed body hereby endorses the
    project proposal of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kagawasan for the renovation of the
    old barangay hall into a Sangguniang Kabataan office;

    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this body earnestly requests the Honorable City Mayor to
    extend financial assistance and support towards the realization of this vital initiative, recognizing
    its significance in fostering youth development and community engagement;
    BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned
    parties for their information, guidance, and appropriate action.

    Resolved unanimously, this June 6, 2024, at the Old Barangay Hall of Barangay Kagawasan.
