THE WEEKLY CHRONICLE
ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL KHADAKWASLA
The workers and the working class are the driving force of a country. They are the ones
who do most of the work to initiate development. The nation and the state are built by
its infrastructure, development and the economy. The workers get down to the roots of
things and start work at the basic level to initiate positive changes in the country and
the world. Workers and the working class are extremely important as they are the
backbone of a society. We take care of their wellbeing regularly and listen to their
issues. Every year, International Labour Day is observed to raise awareness about the
struggles and the contributions of the workers and the working class to society. NCC
cadets of APS Khadakwasla celebrated International Labour Day on 1st May 2024 to
appreciate the Group D staff who are the backbone of the institution. They expressed
their heartful gratitude with kind words. Small gifts were presented to them for their
selfless contribution to the development of APS Khadakwasla and society.

Calligraphy is a beautiful and meditative art form that allows for creativity and self-
expression. It's a great way to relax, improve focus and develop fine motor skills. The
satisfaction of creating something visually stunning with just a pen and paper is
incredibly rewarding. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced calligrapher,
there's always something new to learn and explore in this timeless craft. Participating
in a calligraphy competition not only encourages students to hone their skills but also
fosters a sense of camaraderie and community among participants. It promotes
appreciation for the art of handwriting and provides a platform for students to share
their passion with others. All the students of classes 4 & 5 participated with
extraordinary zeal and enthusiasm. The rubrics of the competition were neatness,
Line usage, spacing and formation of letters. Overall, the calligraphy competition in
APS KHADAKWASLA was a memorable and enriching experience that celebrated
