PROGRAM DETAILS
Do you crave the thrill of building the future? The APAC Management Trainee – Operations, Sika Vietnam
isn't your typical grad scheme. This is a fast-paced immersion into the heart of the dynamic chemical
specialty industry of construction and industrials, where innovation meets real-world impact.
We are looking for a Management Trainee to help us develop and implement our growth strategies. This
position is best suited for candidates who want to gain valuable experience towards a managerial role with
advancement potential.
To be successful as a Management Trainee, you should have superb attention to detail and be able to
promptly identify problems. Outstanding candidates will have great leadership, problem solving, and
interpersonal skills.
THE JOURNEY
During your 18 months traineeship, you’ll learn how to identify and apply important strategies and
business processes. You’ll get to learn about our company’s functions and operations, and you’ll support
our management team with daily tasks. Throughout, you will develop strong problem-solving,
communication and people management skills. Additionally, you will participate in formal training courses.
This trainee program is designed to fast-track the development of high-potential young individuals and
prepare them for future leadership positions within the Sika organization. Development components shall
include: rotational assignments including cross country projects/training/seminars; mentorship to help
navigate daily challenges; formal training sessions/ workshops/seminars to develop essential skills such as
leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management; job rotation & project
deployment to gain hands-on experience and apply the skills and knowledge in a practical setting;
networking to expand professional connections; and opportunity to work and be coached by Sika Senior
Managers.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOUNG, COMMITTED TALENTS WITH:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management,
Quality Management, or Supply Chain Management.
• Up to 1 year of working experience in Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Process Engineering.
• Individuals with a hunger to learn and a desire to make a significant impact.
• Confident and positive with a strong willingness to learn and collaborate with others.
• Driven to succeed and develop a long-term career with the company.
• Adapts to and respects diverse environments while taking initiative
• Excellent command of English and Vietnamese, with the ability to present complex information
clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using digital tools.

TRANSPORTATION TO SIKA DONG NAI HEAD OFFICE

Sika Vietnam Head Office (10th Street, Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Phuoc Thien, Nhon Trach District,
Dong Nai, Vietnam)
Shuttle buses are provided at these pick-up points:

• Ho Chi Minh City (District 1, District 3, District 2, Tan Binh District, Binh Thanh District)
• Thu Duc City (Binh Thai, Nguyen Duy Trinh)
• Bien Hoa City
Buses depart between 06:30 AM and 7:00 AM, returning from the Head Office at 16:30 PM daily,
Monday to Friday.
INTERVIEW AND SELECTION PROCESS
• Application Form: before 19th June 2024

• 1st round interviews by Vietnam: 20th – 28th June 2024
• Online Assessement: 1st – 10th July 2024
• 2nd round interviews by Regional: from 11th July 2024
• Onboarding date: in early August 2024
