Nobody wanted to be the King of the “Vegetable Kingdom” because it was a big
responsability. The kingdom was full of all kind of colors, green spinach, orange carrots,
red tomatoes, white onions, yellow peppers, and florets of cauliflowers and broccoli
everywhere. It wasan amazing place full of health and strenght.
People sent messages for those who wanted to be kings. But, nobody wanted to asume
the charge. They all prefered the other kingdoms. One day, a man called Luram, became
sick. He was really weak and he couldn’t grow up. He had no energy, and only wanted to
stay in bed.
One day, a fairy called Lily visited him, and gave him a tonic. It is made of vegetables.
When he drank the tonic, he felt better, he had a lot of energy he wanted to play, run
and jumped.
Fairy Lilyvisited him again, to check how he was and gave him another tonic. He said, he was great, so
Lily said: “Now you are healthy and strong thanks to the vegetables. So it is time to be thankful to the
Kingdom of Vegetables” So, Luram started visiting all sick people, invited them to improve their eating
habits showing the importance of eating vegetables and fruits every day.
The inhabitants of the kingdom realiced that Luram was a good man and that he could be their King.
Luram said humbly:
“I’m not ready to reign yet because I ‘m not improving my own eating habits completely, and there are
still people here who are not eating good. I still have to make everybody understand that not eating
vegetables or fruits can make them fat. But, I will continue working and I will only accept the title of:
Prince Luram of the Vegetable Kingdom”when that happens.
