Electromagnetic Interference is any unwanted signal which affects the operation of a device or a system. Example :
Electromagnetic Interference in TV
The ability of a piece of electronic Equipment to operate without degradation and not to be a source in its intended
operating environment.
EMI is said to be Intra System EMI if the functional characteristics of one module within an electronic equipment or
system is disturbed due to EMI from another module.

EMI I is said to be inter-EMI if the functional characteristics of one module within an electronic equipment or system is
disturbed due to EMI generated by Equipment.
Capacitive coupling occurs when a varying electric field exist between two parallel adjacent conductors typically less
