    Place yourself in front of your students. Tell them that you will say a
    sentence at the same time that you perform an action, but they should
    only do what you say, not what you do.
    You could start by using simple instructions such as, "Touch your nose”
    while you perform the action of touching your mouth. Following the
    instructions of the game, the students should only touch their noses.

    T: “Touch your eyes (nose, mouth, ears).”

    Lay all the picture flashcards (eyes, nose, mouth, ears) on the ta-
    ble. Have the students close their eyes while you hide one flash-
    card. Give them five seconds to figure out which flashcard is miss-
    ing. Make students raise their hands when telling the answer.

    T: (hiding the mouth flashcard) “What's


    missing?”
    Ss: (looking at the flashcards for five seconds)
    S1: (raising a hand) “Mouth.”
    T: “Great! S1 gets one point.”

    Have the students stand in a circle and demonstrate that
    when you say, “Please touch your (body part),” the stu-
    dents must do so as quickly as possible. However that if
    you only say, “Touch your (body part),” they are not to do
    so.
    Any students that make a mistake have to sit down. Con-
    tinue play until there are a handful of champions, until
    only one student remains, or until you’ve successfully
    knocked all of the students out of the game.
