Once upon a time, there was a girl named Goldilocks. She
went for a walk in the woods and found a house. Nobody was there, so she went inside.
On the table, she saw three bowls of porridge – big, medium,
and small. Goldilocks tasted the porridge from the big bowl. "Too hot!" she said. Then she tried the medium bowl. "Too cold!" she said. Finally, she tasted the porridge from the small bowl. "Just right!" she said and ate it all.
Next, she found three chairs – big, medium, and small.
Goldilocks sat in the big chair. "Too big!" she said. Then she sat in the medium chair. "Still too big!" she said. Finally, she sat in the small chair and it broke. "Oh well!" she giggled.
Feeling sleepy, Goldilocks went upstairs and found three beds
– big, medium, and small. First, she lay on the big bed. "Too hard!" she said. Then she lay on the medium bed. "Too soft!" she said. Finally, she lay on the small bed. "Just right!" she said and fell asleep.
Later, the owners of the house came back. They didn't like what they saw.
"Someone ate my porridge," said Papa Bear. "Someone ate
my porridge," said Mama Bear. "Someone ate my porridge, and it's all gone," said Baby Bear with tears in his eyes. The hungry bears walked into the living room and saw their chairs. "Someone sat in my chairs," said Papa Bear. "Someone sat in my chairs," said Mama Bear. "Someone sat in my chair, and it's broken," said Baby Bear, crying. The hungry and angry bears went upstairs.
"Someone's been sleeping in my bed," said Papa Bear.
"Someone's been sleeping in my bed," Mama Bear said. "Someone's been sleeping in my bed, and she's still there," said Baby Bear. "Shh," said Goldilocks. When she saw hungry and angry bears next to her, she jumped out of the bed. She ran all the way home. Goldilocks never again went to the home of three bears.
