4 Submit a complete application (1 May at the latest)

From 1 October you can apply for this course. 1 May is the deadline for applying for programs that
start at the beginning of the academic year (September). Once you have filled in the online
application in Studielink you will receive an email from the TU/e with the login details to our
database Osiris. If you have not received this e-mail within 2 days of applying via Studielink, you
need to send an email to the International Office ([email protected]) stating you have not received a
request to complete your application in OSIRIS.

This means that we must have received your complete application on 1 May. We advise you to
register as early as possible and to ensure that your complete application is preferably received at
least one month before the application deadline. The advantage of this is that if your registration is
not complete, we will be able to inform you in time to make the required changes and still meet the
deadline.

1. Application via StudieLink

2. Upload of the required documents in TU/e Osiris

you messages in the future. Keep an eye on your mailbox preferably on a regular basis (don’t forget
the junk mail!)

6 Receive the outcome of your application

If your application is complete, the admission board will start the assessment.
This can take up to 6 weeks. You will receive the outcome of the application by email.

The Admissions Board reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the admissibility of
your application. The admission requirements mentioned are for your information only.

7 Do the study choice check

After admittance you will be contacted by the Department of your TU/e Bachelor's program and
asked to complete a questionnaire regarding your choice of study.

What is the study choice check?

A well-considered choice of study and a good understanding of the skills you may need to develop
during your studies increase the probability of academic success. The check is mandatory for all
Dutch students and non-Dutch students.

Based on your answers, you will receive advice on your choice of study. This advice is two-fold: it
provides insight into our assessment of your motivation and certainty of your choice of study and it
also mentions skills that may be developed and in which the program can support you. The outcome
of the study choice check is not binding and does not influence your admission to the program.
Consider the study choice check as a useful way to prepare yourself for starting your Bachelor's
program at TU/e.

What do you need to do?

Just wait for an invitation by email from the TU/e Department of your Bachelor's
program. The email will be sent to all admitted Bachelor students from mid May onwards. The
emails will contain a link to the online questionnaire and full information on what to do.

11 Documents for enrollment

Mid-June you will receive an email asking you to send us documents to prove that you have fulfilled
the conditions of your admission and that you have graduated from your previous education. We
need this proof to officially enroll (register) you as a TU/e student. After enrollment you get access
to TU/e systems, lectures, classes, labs and other facilities.

If your school or college offers an online verification service, we ask you to request your school to
provide us with login credentials by email (to [email protected]) so that we can verify your diploma and
grade list online (subject: online verification).

If your school or college does not offer an online verification service, we ask you to send us a
certified copy of your diploma and grade list from your previous education (and if applicable: a
certified copy of your VWO certificate Mathematics B/Physics/Chemistry).

Certified copies are copies with an original stamp to verify that the copies are true copies of the
original documents. This official stamp may be from one of the following institutions:

the educational institution from where you gained the diploma

an embassy
a solicitor or notary
a local town or city council.
If you have not yet received your diploma and official academic transcript, we require an official
statement from your school/college that you have completed your previous education. This
statement must be an original document (not a copy) on the school’s/college’s official headed paper
and must contain an overview of your grades per subject. The statement is to be in the English
language.

Important notes:

if your diploma and grade list is not available in English or Dutch, please include a
certified/authenticated translation
you can send the certified copies (not the originals!) of your diploma and grade list or ask your
school to send their statement to:
Eindhoven University of Technology
Education and Student Affairs
Admission Office MF 1.300

Make sure to send us all your documents at one time, in one envelope. Please do not send your
documents at different times, in different envelopes.
If we need to verify a diploma or certificate online in addition to the submitted documents, please
let us know by adding a note to the documents that you are sending on paper via post/courier.

Make sure to always include your personal student number in all letters and emails to TU/e. This
allows us to easily find your information.
Please note that for finalizing your enrollment at TU/e, you also need to have done the study
choice check (for Bachelor programs with selection: have accepted your place at TU/e) and have
informed us through Studielink how you are going to pay/have paid the tuition fee. You can
inform us about that as soon as you receive an email from us with more information. You can
expect this email mid-June.
