RECOMMENDATIONS
 Although evidently compared to last quarter there is an increase on the number of pupils reached, this was through riding on
programmes by other line ministries and partners, hence if a budget for conducting individual and group assessments can be availed it
will go a mile in facilitating reaching all those learners who need assessment
 The province and districts are facing severe challenges in in road worth vehicles and this is negatively impacting on the day to day
execution of duties.

The number of drop outs is soaring hence an Action research would help in determining the course of action to take if we are to
reduce this.

14.0 Success stories, Challenges & Recommendations

14.1. Success stories

 The province managed to establish to conduct successfully Community Service fairs through Outreach, Carrer Exhibitions
as well as PSS with learners in spotted geographical hot spot areas.
 Meanwhile the province is conducting some G&C teacher trainings on the fit for life and work.

14.2. Challenges

 It has been a long time since learners with challenges mainly intellectually in the established were last re-assessed.
 Lack of resources such as finance, vehicle challenges, and sometimes fuel, if then an improvement on such factors is made
a long way to meet our target would be reached.

14.3. Recommendations
 We are recommending psychologist to visit districts for at least a week every month to avoid parents visit the province for a
psycho-educational assessment. Parents are complaining about the cost implications involved.
