CREATIVE WORK:
In his repertoire, symphonic works are the most prominent, which were performed and awarded by
several orchestras and symphonic composition festivals in Brazil.
His musical language combines elements of concert music, jazz and Brazilian music and Latin American
folklore.

Due to his various participations in festivals and national composition competitions, Jônatas Reis had his
works evaluated and chosen by renowned Brazilian composers of today: Almeida Prado, Edino Krieger,
Edmundo Villani-Côrtes, Eli-Eri Moura, Ernani Aguiar, João Guilherme Ripper, Jorge Antunes, Marisa
Rezende, Marlos Nobre, Oilian Lana, Ronaldo Miranda and Silvio Ferraz.
His works were conducted by renowned Brazilian conductors such as Fábio Mechetti, Fábio Prado, José
Soares, Marcelo Lehninger, Marcos Arakaki and others.

The Tinta Fresca Festival prize consists of a paid commission for a work that is premiered the
