We are thrilled to announce the upcoming 6th National Conference and Worshop
on Antimicrobial Stewardship Practices in India- ASPICON 2024, a premier event
of Society of Antimicrobial Stewardship Practices in India (SASPI) dedicated to
the latest advancements and challenges in the eld of infectious diseases with a
focus on antimicrobial stewardship.The theme of this year’s conference is
‘Contextualized Approach to Antimicrobial Stewardship’.
Scheduled to take place from 22nd to 25th August, 2024 at Postgraduate Institute
of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh this conference promises to be
a comprehensive platform for experts, researchers, clinicians, basic medical
scientists, allied healthcare professionals and policymakers to exchange
knowledge, explore innovative solutions, and foster collaborations.
Chandigarh, the city renowned for its architecture and urban design, offers a
tting backdrop for our discussions on innovative and systemic solutions in
healthcare. We encourage you to engage fully in the sessions, as well as in the
informal interactions that spark collaboration and idea-sharing. This conference
will not only be a platform to gain and share knowledge but also an opportunity to

CALL FOR SYMPOSIA
In anticipation of this event, we are currently inviting proposals for symposium

sessions that will form a critical part of our conference program. This is an exceptional
opportunity for you to showcase your work, share your insights, and contribute to
shaping the future of infectious disease research and practice. The symposia are
designed to provide a stage for experts and delegates to have an in-depth and focused
discussion in specic domains related to the theme of conference.
ASPICON 2024 will provide a framework for hosting symposia on varied topics from
Infectious diseases, Clinical Pharmacology, Microbiology and Allied Disciplines. The
topics of immediate and future relevance in research, patient care as well as medical
education will form part of scientic content of ASPICON 2024.
The organizing committee on behalf of SASPI invites interested speakers/participants

to submit proposals for symposium for consideration by the Scientic Committee of
ASPICON 2024.

We encourage submissions that are innovative, multidisciplinary, and relevant to the

Selection of the Proposals: The submitted proposals shall be examined for the
relevance of the topic, prole of the invited speakers and arrangement of logistics
for travel and stay. The submitted proposals will be examined by the scientic
committee of ASPICON 2024.
