RENT AGREEMENT

This Rent Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between:

Collectively referred to as the "Parties."

2. Term

The term of this Agreement shall commence on [Start Date] and shall continue until [End Date],
unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

3. Rent

The Tenant agrees to pay the Landlord a total annual rent of AED [Amount in Numbers]
(Dirhams [Amount in Words]), payable in [number of installments, e.g., 4] post-dated cheques as
follows:

4. Security Deposit
The Tenant shall pay a security deposit of AED [Amount in Numbers] (Dirhams [Amount in
Words]) upon signing this Agreement. This deposit will be held by the Landlord as security for
the Tenant's performance of their obligations under this Agreement and will be refunded to the
Tenant within [number] days after the end of the tenancy, subject to any deductions for damages
beyond normal wear and tear.

5. Utilities and Services

The Tenant shall be responsible for the payment of all utilities and services including, but not
limited to, electricity, water, gas, telephone, internet, and any other services consumed at the
Property.

6. Maintenance and Repairs

 Landlord's Responsibility: The Landlord shall be responsible for major structural


repairs and maintenance of the Property.
 Tenant's Responsibility: The Tenant shall keep the Property clean, tidy, and in good
condition. The Tenant is responsible for minor repairs and routine maintenance.

7. Use of Property

The Property shall be used solely for residential purposes and shall not be used for any illegal or
commercial activities. The Tenant shall comply with all local laws and regulations.

8. Subletting

The Tenant shall not sublet the Property or assign this Agreement without the prior written
consent of the Landlord.

9. Termination

 Notice: Either Party may terminate this Agreement by giving [number] days' written
notice to the other Party.
 Breach: In the event of a breach of any term of this Agreement by the Tenant, the
Landlord may terminate the Agreement and repossess the Property.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United
Arab Emirates and the Emirate of [Emirate], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

11. Dispute Resolution


Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved amicably
between the Parties. If an amicable resolution is not possible, the dispute shall be submitted to
the competent courts of the Emirate of [Emirate].

12. Miscellaneous

 Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties
with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements or
understandings, oral or written.
 Amendments: This Agreement may not be amended or modified except by a written
agreement signed by both Parties.
 Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the
remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
 Waiver: The failure to exercise any right provided in this Agreement shall not be a
waiver of prior or subsequent rights.
