Golden Arowana

1. Super Grade Electric Blue Cross Back Gold Arowana

Super Grade Electric Blue Cross Back Gold Arowana has a deep and prominent blue
shine on the core of its scales with a gold rm on the outer edge of its scales. Generally it
has a thinner rim of gold as compared to gold based Arowana. For some older fishes, the
gold frames might extend into the blue core hence appearing more golden in color. Super
Grade Electric Blue Cross Back Golden Arowana will have a blue appearance when view
from far. The Arowana will appear gold in color and then suddenly reflect blue when it
makes a turn. An Arowana with thin gold rims and intense blue core are highly sought
after by hobbyist.

2. Cross Back Arowana is a natural colorant variant that is originated from the Bukit Merah
Lake in Perak, Malaysia. The Cross Back Arowana is the most beautiful golden color
variants of the Asian Arowana. And in the lake, different populations in the smaller
tributaries have its own subtle difference compared to other populations. Like all Cross
Back Arowana the gold rims on the scales reach only the 4 th rows of scales when young
but will spread towards the back until it reach the 6 th level upon maturity. Thus, its name
“Cross Back” means “Golden coloration crossing over the back”. The Full Gold Arowana
has gold based core and a gold rim on the outer edge. Good specimen will appear as a
solid piece of gold when is fully matured. Traits of a Full Gold Arowana are lighter color
fins and eyes as compared to the other varieties of Cross Back Arowana. All Cross Back
Gold Arowana are graded according to how fast the gold rims of the scales reach the
6 th rows scales.

3. Red Tail Gold Arowana

The Red Tail Gold Arowana is a natural color strain that originated from the Pekanbaru
river system in Sumatra. It has scale base color ranging from blue, green or gold with a
gold rim on the outer edge of each scale. The gold rims on the scales reaches only up to
its 4 th row of scales. The 6 th row of scales which is at the back when viewing from the
top is usually dark color with no glittering.
4. High Back Golden Arowana

High Back Arowana is similar to Red Tail Gold Arowana except that it has the gold rims at
5 th level which is enough to render it, a higher grade than Red Tail Gold. The 6 th row of scales
which is at the back when viewing from the top is usually dark color with no glittering.

Red Arowana
1. Chilli Red Arowana

All Chilli Red Arowana are natural color variants that originated from the Kapuas River System
in Kalimantan. Along the Kapuas River, there are pockets of Super Red Arowana populations
that look slightly different from other populations and thus, named under different types of Super
Red Arowana.

The plain juvenile fish turns into a stunningly beautiful adult who has scales base colors ranging
from green, orange or purple with orange or red color rims on the outer edge of each scale.
2. Violet Fusion Super Red Arowana

The Violet Fusion Super Red Arowana is a special category of Super Red Arowana that exhibit a
purple base core in their scales and superior overall body shape. Its tail tends to be larger and
possess longer pectoral fins which enable it to swim gracefully with majestic style.

Under the right growing conditions, its desired shape and color would be achieved. Maturing to
becoming one of the most beautiful Red Arowana there is in the market.

3. Super Grade Red Splendour Cross Back Arowana

Red Splendour Cross Back Arowana is a variant produced by cross breeding of Cross Back
Golden Arowana and Red Arowana.

Due to its Hybrid origin, it is a rather exotic variant as it will exhibit the color characteristics of
both the Red Arowana and Cross Back Golden Arowana.
Super Grade Splendour possesses even better color, scale and splendid body.

4. Grade 2 Red Arowana (Banjar Red)

The Grade 2 Red Arowana is a natural color


variant found in the Banjarmasin river system in Kalimantan. The young fish has red fins set on a
silver body with a greenish hue. It is highly resembles the juveniles of the Red Arowana and
therefore always used by unscrupulous traders to forged the higher value Super Red Arowana.
However, the adult fish looks totally different. The body turns grayish green in adults and the
fins fade to a lighter red or even yellow when fully grown.

Green Arowana

Green Arowana is one of the most common Asian Arowana which can be found in many parts of
South East Asia. It is relatively more fecund than the rest of its variant. As such, it is of lower
value among other Asian Arowana.
It has a grayish-green body with a dark striped grayish green tail. It has a larger, rounder head
and mouth as compared to the other varieties.

1. Albino Violet Fusion Super Red Arowana

The rarest variant of all the different types of Asian Arowana is the extremely beautiful Albino
version of our Violet Fusion Super Red Arowana. Brooded in Qian Hu Fish Farm by a set of
Red Arowana, specifically chosen and groomed by Wan Hu, through years of research and
studies, Wan Hu has been able to come up with a way to continuously breed such a rare
specimen. With its lack of pigmentation, red eyes and possessing all the traits of our highest
quality Red Arowana, the Albino Red Arowana is truly a sight to behold.

2. Albino Golden Arowana


Albino

Golden Arowana is the rare Albino variant of the Golden Asian Arowana. Its overall body and
core color is an attractive orangey-yellow, with gold rims on the outer edge. This result in a very
unique combination of orange and gold color giving the Albino Golden Arowana, a very striking
and beautiful coloration.

3. Albino Silver Arowana

Through selective breeding and DNA studies, a few “Perfect Silver Arowana” manages to isolate
the genes required to breed, the Albino Silver Arowana. With its overall body color, orange;
eyes smoky red; and outer rims of its scales, a pinkish hue. It is one very beautiful and unique
“Dragon” fish that looks like it just swan out of a fairytale.
