PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:
 Recently, worked at a biotechnology company and believe the skills and experience I've acquired
during my time here are highly transferrable to the Software Verification Engineer role listed for
the healthcare client mentioned.

EDUCATION:
Education:
 Computer Science B.S. (Cumulative GPA: 3.8/4.0), Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA, August
2018 – May 2022.
 Noteworthy Coursework: Theoretical and Applied Machine Learning, Biomedical Image Analysis.
 Senior Thesis: Optimization of Molecular Graphs with Deep Kernel Learning.
 Undergraduate TA: Mentored 150+ students across 3 semester iterations of a Python programming
course.

Projects:
 Implemented a Java-based DNS server that supports record caching and whose message format
conforms to the structure of request and response data in UDP packets.
 Built a social web application with ReactJS for users living in environmentally hazardous conditions.
 Created an informational iOS app pertaining to the Boy Scouts of America using Swift and XCode.
 Developed an original 2D Breakout-style game using C# and the Unity game engine.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
 Languages/Frameworks: Python, Java, C, C#, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Flask, .NET
(WPF), XAML.
 Developer Tools: Git, Azure DevOps Server (TFS), Microsoft SQL Server, Swagger API.
 Eagle Scout, Boy Scouts of America.
 USA Water Polo Outstanding Academic All-American and 2016 Junior Olympics Gold Medalist.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Hamilton Storage Technologies, Franklin, MA July 2022 – Present

Software Engineer
(Designs and manufactures ultra-low temperature automated life sciences sample management
products)
 Multi-channel embedded control systems programming in Python and C# with PLCs controlling
three unique automated labware products responsible for storing, transferring, and defrosting labware.
 Developed a .NET (WPF) app to test and improve the efficacy of a RESTful API supporting the
integration of customer-made Automated Mobile Robots with the labware input/output modules of
Hamilton products.
 Using Python, enhanced the labware processing algorithm of a Raspberry Pi-powered rack defroster
to mitigate mechanical design flaws and used a digital multimeter to track I/O voltage for its servo
motors.
 Write and maintain SQL stored procedures to automate database population upon downloading new
software versions, enabling QA engineers to run unit tests without manually write labware queries.
Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA Aug. 2021 – May 2022
Computational Chemistry Research Assistant
 Modelled potential energy surfaces (PES) for over 54000 organic molecules by creating a message-
passing graph neural network with Python to predict molecular energies (in kcal/mol) based on
geometry.
 Optimized PES traversal by implementing a surrogate model employing Gaussian Process
Regression, reducing overall local minima prediction error to 40% of that produced by existing
topological algorithms.
 Derived ground state molecular geometries associated with each local minima, giving department
faculty and researchers insight into these molecules’ fundamental atomic and structural properties.

Data Axle, Dallas, TX June 2021 – Aug. 2021

Data Science Intern
 Enhanced restaurant search reliability by creating and training a Python model utilizing Natural
Language Processing and multilabel classification to identify millions of restaurants by over 100
possible cuisine types.
 Expedited model training and reduced hamming loss by leveraging Python’s PySpark and NLTK
libraries, streamlining restaurant name analysis and leading to a 33% increase in overall cuisine
labelling accuracy.
 Prepared extensive training datasets by scraping restaurant data and cuisine type data from company-
wide AWS buckets, allowing coverage of even the rarest cuisines during model training.
