The truth behind life.

It’s year 12041.

Humanity has been dead for more than a thousand years.

And I’m alone here, with my family and the village.

I’m meditating on a mountain and I see something strange.

Something hits Earth.

An asteroid? A comet?

Don’t know yet, let me check.

I go up to the place of explosion, fire everywhere, really dangerous, and I think to myself ‘hah, adrenaline’.

I go inside the hole, get cut here and there, and I’m now next to the thing that hit Earth.

I see some liquid, blue liquid going out of it.

It looks like a spaceship really.

But it would be stupid to assume so.

I take a rock, and throw it at it.

It bounces from it, with a metallic sound.

‘huh?’ I think to myself.

Spaceship?

A loud siren starts to go off.

First thought, a weapon.

I hide behind a random stone, and wait.

And I start hearing… music?

Mermaid music, like those from old movies about mermaids.

Really peaceful, really encouraging to go out.

I start imagining a green guy with pistols jumping out of the ship, but I know it’s just my imagination.

And then I hear ‘hello?’.

I got real scared, first time in years.

WTF?

Hello?
I think about what to do, but I just remind myself, ‘courage is the way’.

So I answer, with a confident masculine deep, but peaceful voice:

Who are you?

I don’t know - answers the voice.

Where are you? - I asked.

Here, come to me, please. - said the voice.

Alr then, continue to make a sound please. - I answer, while getting up

I get closer and closer to the voice, and I see him.

A human, or something like human body, with half their body cut away, but still alive.

The blood is blue, can’t be a human.

I take him to the village.

He continued to mummer something during the walk there, but I didn’t understand a word.

When I arrive, everybody starts to scream, they tell me to take him away, and leave somewhere, and kill and
torture, and I don’t understand a word.

Somebody takes a gun even and points at me to take him away, so I get a bit worried like WTF is happening.

Everybody knows something I don’t.

I ask, ‘what’s up I just wanted to help him, and everyone is panicking’.

Now 3 guns are pointing at me.

Everyone says to take him away or they will shoot me.

So I’m like, alr, alr, but I want an explanation after I get back.

I slowly walk out of the village, and take the half of the body with me.

I sit on my mountain, heal him a bit, and I go to sleep.

When I woke up, he wasn’t there.

But I see blue blood, so I get up, and start walking through the blue path.

It goes through the mountains, forests, and ends in the village.

It is burned to the ground, bodies everywhere, no one is breathing.

I just hear the roofs of the houses falling, walls breaking apart, and one guy in the middle of the village is sitting
next to the fountain.
He has a huge hole in his stomach, and will probably die in seconds.

I ask him, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED HERE, WHERE IS MY FAMILY?

Over there - he answers, and points the finger at the only house that wasn’t destroyed.

I go inside, and I see my kids, and wife, sitting in a bathtub, scared to life.

I just hug them, and sit with them, until they calm a bit.

After a few hours of sitting there, I just say ‘I need to go and find the answer to what happened’ and my girl just
slowly nods.

I leave the house, the guy with the hole in his body is already dead.

But the rest of the bodies disappeared.

I go inside the ruins of homes, and take useful stuff for the adventure.

Gun, beef jerky, running shoes, glasses with internet, a flying backpack, and I leave the village once again.

There is no more blue path, nothing that can lead me anywhere, so I get back to the starting point.

The space ship.

I enter it, see dead bodies everywhere, and blue blood everywhere.

Not humans.

I see the weirdly old looking computers, click random buttons and a hologram appears.

A mother, and a kid, talking about how they love their dad, and then an officer, a general, idfk know, he just
looked like a leader and said, don’t get close to planet EC183.

EC183?

It’s not us.

I see some more holograms, but nothing important.

Until I hear the description, EC183 is a beautiful planet, with plants and waters everywhere, but a really
dangerous species is living there, don’t kill them ever.

I just think to myself ‘dangerous? we just live in a village’.

And I get an AHH moment.

I leave the spaceship, I cut my own wrists and lie down.

I feel light headed, I feel like if I'm dying and then I wake up.

I woke up in my room, next to my baby.

A nightmare? - she asked.

I just said yeah, and went back to sleep.

When I wake up to go write some scripts I just can’t stop thinking about the dream.

What was it about?

Why did everyone die?

Was it my imagination, or something else?

I start writing it, journaling the dream through.

I ask AI, what could it mean?

AI doesn’t want to answer.

What?

I ask again, still no answer.

Ugh, internet connection.

I leave my apartment and wtf.

I’m in the village again.

Now everyone is happy and alive?

I know I’m in a dream now at least.

I’ve learned lucid dreaming before. Look at my hands first, normal 5 fingers, then I try to breathe through my
nose, and I can.

Alr, alr, a dream, I calm myself out.

But let’s solve it this time.

And I hear a gunshot.

I wake up, next to my baby, and she is asleep this time.

Fuck, woke up again.

I try to fall asleep once again, but I can't.

So I go outside to run.

It’s still dark, I haven’t checked the time but it’s night time for sure.

I put on my shoes and leave the house.

And guess fucking what.

I’m not in a village now.

I’m just outside of my house running.

And I think to myself, ‘damn, what a weird dream’.

Funny how fucked up our minds are.

And then I wake up.

I look at my baby, she is dead.

And I wake up again.

Baby is naked now, wanting to fuck.

And then I wake up.

And I wake up.

And I wake the FUCK up.

Baby is asleep.

But a dark, mysterious person is sitting next to my bed.

I have something on my head.

Looks like some technological shit, not from this world for sure.

I ask, what now, am I going to wake up again? - with sarcasm.

And he answers, you will never wake up again if you die here.

I can just feel like I am in reality now.

Alr so who are you, where am I, what the fuck is happening, if I may ask??? - I ask.

You are in your apartment, it’s 2024, your life is exactly how it’s always been - he answers.

Alr then, would you mind me going for a run now? - I ask, and then notice that he is holding a gun, pointed at
me.

Oh…

So that’s how we play. - I say.

Stop trying to threaten me, yk that I don’t care about my life - I said.

I know, I know - he answers and he points the gun at my girl.

What is it all about? - I ask.

Life is too complicated to try to overcomplicate it boy, stop trying so much to achieve anything in life, focus on
the simple truths you know. - The dark figure answers.

Oh, so you’re my life savior - I ask with sarcasm in my voice

No, I’m here to save the human race from extinction, not to save you. Your ambitions are too high boy, stop
trying to understand life, it is too complicated, focus on the simple truths.

What have you felt, when I pointed the gun at your girl?

Nothing - I answer.

Are you sure? - the dark figure continues to questions

No… - I answer.

Are you trying to understand your emotions now?

Yes, and I ..

Stop. Don’t understand, just feel. Life is too short to think. - the dark figure answers, while stepping out of a
shadow.

Oh, so I should listen to you… Because you have the life's truths? - I ask, with real curiocity now.

Live your life boy, don’t try to understand it, and for sure don’t try to overcomplicate it.

This is the message I wanted to get across in this book.

Live your life, we won’t understand it ever.
