Classic Event Rebalancing
Misc additions:
- Retro Swarm Challenge: Part of the Classic Events. Team up in groups of 4 and
defend the hives from waves of Slimes and Zombies. Once this has been tested and
the event is over, I'll rebalance and adjust it and add main game rewards
(currently only rewards the Classic event tokens. Won't be awarded on the test
realm).
-- Somewhat similar to Robo Bear Challenge, you start with all bees locked
and unlock them with a currency, Bricks.
-- Bricks are also used to purchase classic Weapons and power ups.
-- Earn Bricks from defeating classic mobs, popping Brick Blooms, or
purchasing them with Honey earned during the challenge.
- New Beequips: Demon Talisman, Camphor Lip Balm, Autumn Sunhat, Rose Headband,
Pink Eraser, Candy Ring. Obtainable in Dapper Bear's Shop, as rare drops from
Planters, or as rare rewards from Robo Bear Challenge, Stick Bug Challenge, or Ant
Challenge.
- Some new Stickers and Hive Skins
Misc rebalancing:
- Petal Shuriken conversion has been rebalanced. Was 10k + 7% of the bee's convert
amount. Now is 10k base, +6% of the bee's convert amount, + an additional 6% per
Field Boost Stack of the field you're standing in. Example: 10k + 30% Convert
Amount at x4 Field Boost.
- Tide Popper's wave conversion when hitting a bee has also been changed to scale
with Field Boost stacks, similar to Petal Shurikens.
Leaderboard changes:
- Reduced number of Sticker rewards for most boards now that the a large Sticker
supply has been established. For example: Stamps are now given to the top 25
instead of the top 100.
- Every Daily Leaderboard now rewards between 25 to 100 Tickets to all top 100
players (in addition to any Sticker rewards).
- Added Glowering Gummy Bear as reward for #1 Daily Top Gummy Soldier.
- Daily Bomb Pollen board removed.
- Daily Ant Field Pollen board was removed (This was invisible and not intended to
be implemented).
- Daily Windy Bee Tokens board added. Rewards Tornado Sticker to the top 10.
- Daily Aphid Exterminators board added. Rewards Wavy Cyan Hive Skin to the top 5.
Beequip changes:
- Festive Wreath and Puppy's Reindeer Antlers are now normal Beequips that can be
traded, destroyed, and have Caustic Waxes applied. If they are in your Permanent
Beequip storage, they will remain there until you take them out, but cannot be put
back in. I might remove the Permanent Beequip feature altogether.
- Festive Wreath level requirement increased to 10.
- Lowered the Equip Limit of Elf Cap, Poinsettia, and Icicles to 2 (from 3).
- Increased capacity hive bonuses of Beret and Festive Wreath.
Instant Conversion / Field Winds Changes:
- Reduced Field Conversion from Winds to range from 20%-50% (from 25%-67%). Trying
to rebalance Instant Conversion in general by adding it to other sources.
- Every stack of Field Winds now grants +1% White Pollen (which applies to any
field). For example: 5x Bamboo Field Winds + 5x Strawberry Field Winds = +10% White
Pollen
Nectar changes:
- Refreshing Nectar changed to grant between 5% to 20% Unique Instant Conversion
(replaces +1% to +10% Bee Ability Pollen).
- Doubled the starting amount of Convert Rate granted by all Nectars (maximum
amount remains the same).
- Doubled the starting amount of Pollen multiplier granted by all Nectars (max
remains the same).
- Invigorating Nectar's minimum Bee Attack multiplier increased to x1.02 (from
x1.01).
Consumable changes:
- Honeysuckles: Increased the amount of Pollen converted - now causes every bee to
instantly converts pollen equal to double their Convert Amount multiplied by 1 + #
of the active field's boost stacks over a short period (~5-10 seconds, depends on
number of active bees).
- Increased drop rates of Honeysuckles for all Planters and added Honeysuckles to
all Memory Matches.
- Whirligigs now grant increased Convert Rate at Hive for 20 seconds. Starts at
+100% and scales down to +1% as the timer runs out.
- Tropical Drinks now also grant +10% Instant Conversion.
- Super Smoothie's Instant Conversion raised to +20% (from 12%).
- Coconut adjustments:
-- Reduced the radius to 13 (from 15).
-- Falling duration increased to 2.5 seconds (from 2s).
-- Amount converted into Honey Tokens on hit now scales by 25% with each
Field Boost stack (base value is still your Convert Total).
-- Collects pollen from 29 flowers (down from 49), but collects 25 pollen (up
from 15).
-- Coconuts now deal 10 damage + 5% of your Attack Total + [5% of the enemy's
HP capped at 500] (changed from 75 Damage + [10% of the enemy's HP capped at 500]),
-- Coconuts can now pop Bubbles (and Fuzz Bombs).
Flame changes:
- Flames spawned by a bee or a bee's abilities now gain +10% pollen per bee level.
Dark Flames retain the level of the original Flame that was converted.
- Flame base Pollen collection per second changed to 4 Red / 2 White / 1 Blue (from
6/3/1).
- Flames no longer scale with number of Red Bees in the hive unless they were
spawned directly by the player (through Scythe, X-Flame or Ignite).
- Attack from Flame Heat increased to +5%-+25% (from +2%-20%).
- Flames spawned by bees now deal 10 + 25% of the bee's base attack per second
(change from 15 damage). Base attack in this context means it does not apply the
player's Bee Attack Multipliers. It does include: bee type's base attack, bee's
gifted bonus, bee's mutations and beequips, and the player's additive bee attack
stats/hive bonuses.
- Dark Flames now deal 50% more damage than regular flames (changed from flat 25
damage).
- Gathering Flames+ trigger chance increased to 65%, 85% if Gifted (from 55%, 75%
if Gifted).
Bubble changes:
- Bubbles spawned by a bee or its abilities now gain +5% pollen per bee level.
Bubbles from Frogs will scale with the source Tadpole Bee's level.
- Bubble base lifespan reduced to 4 seconds (from 6.5s. Bubble Bombs erroneously
said it was 8s). (Note that Tadpole Bee's new Gifted Hive bonus is +25% Bubble
Duration)
- Gold Bubble pollen multiplier changed to +100% per Field Boost Stack (from flat
x1.5). Examples: No Field Boost = x1 Gold Bubble Pollen. 3x Field Boost = x3 Gold
Bubble Pollen.
- Gold Bubbles now have 100% Instant Conversion (unless they go into a Balloon).
- Fixed a bug causing Gold Bubble's Honey Tokens to not count pollen that went into
a Balloon or was instantly converted. This was often making the tokens worthless.
- Reduced the chance for a Gold Bubble to spawn a Honey Token to 10% (from 20%).
- Gathering Bubbles+ trigger chance increased to 65%, 85% if Gifted (from 55%, 75%
if Gifted).
Puffshroom changes:
- Defeating a Rare+ Puffshroom grants Puffshroom Blessing stacks equal to 50% the
level of the Puffshroom to all players that contributed.
-- Stacks are multiplied x2 for Epic, x3 for Legendary, and x4 for Mythic.
-- Puffshrooms popped on fields that haven't yet been visited by the
Puffshroom's lineage gain x2 Stacks.
-- Grants between +1%-+10% Unique Instant Conversion, Pollen, Capacity, and
Honey From Tokens. Max stacks is 100. Lasts 2 hours.
- The amount of Honey and regular Treats dropped by Puffshrooms has been greatly
increased, from around x2 at lvl 1 and x4 at lvl 24.
- Increased the daily loot limits of some of their drops.
Mutation changes:
- New Mutation type: Critical Chance (from 1% to 3%). Applies to gathering,
attacks, and abilities.
- New Mutation type: Movespeed (from 2 to 6 base movespeed).
- New Mutation type: Instant Conversion (from 8% to 20%). This is a Unique IC
applied to the bee's gathering and abilities.
- All 3 new Mutation types have the same rarity as Ability Rate.
- Increased the maximum Gather Amount that can be granted by additive Gather Amount
mutations to 10 (from 6).
- Increased the maximum Convert Amount that can be granted by additive Convert
Amount mutations to 80 (from 50).
- Increased the maximum Base Attack mutation to +2 (from +1).
- Increased the maximum multiplicative Attack mutation to +20% (from +15%).
Badge changes:
- Dandelion Badge bonus changed to +3/6/9/12/15% Honey At Hive (from +1/2/3/4/5%
Instant Conversion).
- Cactus Field badge bonus changed to +1/2/3/4/5% Instant Conversion (from
+5/10/15/20/25% Bomb Pollen).
- Hive Hub Badge bonus increased to +2/4/6/8/10% Instant Gifted Bee Conversion
(from 1/2/3/4/5%).
- Spider Field Badge bonus decreased to +10/15/20/25/30% White Pollen (from
+10/20/30/40/50%).
- Mountain Top Master requirement lowered to 100 T (from 1 Q).
- Battle Points Grandmaster requirement lowered to 500k (from 1m).
- Ability Grandmaster requirement lowered to 5 million tokens (from 10m).
Mask changes:
- Fire Mask Container Space multiplier increased to x1.5 (from x1.25).
- Fire Mask changed to have +15% Bee Attack (from +2 Red Bee Attack).
- Bubble Mask lowered to have x1.25 Bubble Pollen (from x2). (Reduced due to new
Bubble level scaling)
- Bubble Mask no longer has +15% Instant Blue Conversion.
- Bubble Mask now gains x1.25 Blue Field Capactiy.
- Bubble Mask's Bubble Bombs now spawns 25 Bubbles every 25 Bombs and has a 2
minute cooldown (changed from 3 Bubbles every 7 Bombs with no cooldown).
- Bubbles from Bubble Bombs now correctly have 8s base duration (last twice as long
as Bubbles spawned from bees/frogs/Bubble Wand).
- Demon Mask Instant Red Conversion increased to 20% (from 15%).
- Demon Mask now also requires 1 Invigorating Vial to craft.
- Diamond Mask lowered to have x1.5 Bubble Pollen. (Reduced due to new Bubble level
scaling)
- Diamond Mask now also requires 1 Comforting Vial to craft.
- Gummy Mask now also requires 1 Satisfying Vial to craft.
Boot changes:
- Movespeed changes:
-- The game's base player movespeed has increased to 20 studs per second
(from 18), and the speed of boots has been adjusted:
-- Basic Boots decreased to 4 (from 5). Effective change is +1.
-- Hiking Boots decreased to 5 (from 6). Effective change is +1.
-- Beekeeper's decreased to 6 (from 8). No effective change.
-- Coconut Clogs decreased to 7 (from 10). Effective change is -1.
-- Gummy Boots decreased to 8 (from 10). No effective change.
- Hiking Boots now grants +1 Bee Attack.
- Beekeeper's Boots now grants +1 Bee Attack.
- Beekeeper's Boots Bee Gather Pollen bonus increased to +25% (from +20%).
- Coconut Clogs changes:
-- Coconut Clogs no longer grant x2 Pollen from Coconuts (could be confused
with Coconut Field pollen).
-- Coconut Clogs no longer grants x1.5 Convert Rate At Hive.
-- Coconut Clogs Pollen bonus increased to +15% (from +10%).
-- Coconut Clogs now grant x1.15 Coconut Field Pollen.
-- Coconut Clogs changed to grant +2 base Bee Attack instead of +5% Bee
Attack multiplier.
-- Coconut Clogs Movement Collection increased to 14 (from 12).
-- Coconut Clogs crafting cost increased by 1 Refreshing Vial.
- Gummy Boots changes:
-- Gummy Boots no longer grants x2 Convert Rate At Hive.
-- Gummy Boots Pollen bonus increased to +20% (from +10%).
-- Gummy Boots changed to grant +3 base Bee Attack instead of +10% Bee Attack
multiplier.
-- Gummy Boots Movement Collection increased to 16 (from 15).
-- Gummy Boots crafting cost increased by 1 Motivating Vial and 1 Satisfying
Vial.
Backpack/Container changes:
- Red/Blue Port-O-Hive Changes:
-- Red/Blue Port-O-Hives Capacity increased to 400,000 (from 375k).
-- Red/Blue Port-O-Hives now grant +10% Red/Blue Bee Convert Rate.
-- Red/Blue Port-O-Hives no longer grant +1 Red/Blue Bee Attack.
-- Red/Blue Port-O-Hives now cost 2 Red/Blue Extracts and 2 Soft Wax.
- Porcelain Port-O-Hive changes:
-- Porcelain Port-O-Hive Capacity increased to 600,000 (from 500k).
-- Porcelain Port-O-Hive now grants x1.25 Convert Rate At Hive.
-- Porcelain Port-O-Hive no longer grants +10% Red/Blue Pollen.
-- Porcelain Port-O-Hive no longer grants +1 Bee Attack.
-- Porcelain Port-O-Hive now costs 3 Glitter, 3 Soft Wax, and 10 Moon Charms.
- Coconut Canister changes:
-- Coconut Canister now grants x1.5 Convert Rate At Hive.
-- Coconut Canister now grants +25% Coconut Field Capacity.
-- Stacks of Inspire from Star Shower, Falling Beesmas Light, or any other
non-Token source now contribute to triggering the Inspire Coconuts passive.
-- Coconut Canister no longer grants +10% Pollen.
-- Coconut Canister no longer grants +1 Bee Attack.
-- Coconut Canister's crafting cost increased by 100 Coconuts and 2
Refreshing Vials.
Cloud changes:
- Clouds now also grants 10% Unique Instant Conversion (20% if you have Gifted
Windy Bee).
- Windy Bee's Rain Cloud duration now increases by 10s per lvl (up from 5s).
- Clouds will no longer contribute to a Sprout's growth unless a player is standing
in the field.
