unable to earn a thousand good deeds?" One of those present asked, "How
can one earn a thousand good deeds in a day?" He ﷺreplied, "By saying,
Subhan Allah a hundred times, then one thousand good deeds will be

I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaytaan.
Allah, there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer
of [all] existence.
Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the
earth.
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?
He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after
them,
and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what
He wills.
His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth,
and their preservation tires Him not.
And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "For everything there is a hump (pinnacle) and
the hump (pinnacle) of the Qur'an is Surat Al-Baqarah, in it there is an Ayah
which is the master of the Ayat in the Qur'an; [it is] Ayat Al-Kursi".

The Prophet ﷺsaid to his companions, "Is it difficult for any of you to recite
one third of the Quran in one night?" This suggestion was difficult for them
so they said, "Who among us has the power to do so, O Allah's Messenger
"?ﷺAllah Apostle ﷺreplied, "Surat Al-Ikhlas is equal to one third of the
Quran". [Bukhari] [Al-Ikhlas]
Abu Hurairah narrated, "I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺand
heard a man reciting - Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad, Allahus Samad, so the
Messenger of Allah ﷺsaid, "It is obligatory". I replied, "What is obligatory?"
He ﷺsaid, "Paradise". [Bukhari] [Tirmidhi] [Al-Ikhlas]

Whoever, recites a letter

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺsaying, "Read the Quran, for it will come
as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection". [Muslim]
The Messenger of Allah ﷺsaid, "Whoever recites a letter, from Allah's
Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of
it. I do not say that 'Alif Lam Mim' is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a
letter and Mim is a letter". [Tirmidhi]
Remember Allah, with much remembrance,
By night and by day,
on land and on the sea,
when traveling and when home,
in richness and in poverty,
in sickness and in health,
in secret and openly.
Oh believers, remember Allah,
remembering abundantly.
