The literature on managing the benefits of reporting techniques outlines the many tactics used by
businesses to get the most out of their reporting systems. Research highlights the significance of
unambiguous communication channels, openness, and accountability in cultivating a culture that
promotes reporting. Furthermore, studies look into how technology might improve data accuracy
and streamline reporting procedures. The body of research emphasizes how important it is to take
proactive steps when utilizing reporting techniques to improve organizational efficacy and
compliance. The current paper used a narrative review system to review the literature on the
academic performance of senior high school students.
Reporting Method and It’s impact on the Academic performance of Senior High Students
Researchers and educators are interested in high school pupils' academic achievement. Numerous
research have looked at how different elements affect pupils' academic achievement. This review
of the literature attempts to contribute to the body of knowledge by summarizing important study
results about the reporting technique and how it affects senior high school students' academic
performance. One research looked at how multilingualism and English language competency
affected overseas students' academic performance. The results showed that the students with the
best mean grade point averages were those who spoke at least three languages and had high
levels of self-perceived English language competency. This shows that multilingualism and
linguistic competency may be important factors in high school students' academic success.
The importance of motivation, coping mechanisms, and perceived barriers to learning in junior
and senior high school pupils was the subject of another study. The study probably provided
insight into the several motivating elements that might affect high school students' academic
performance, even if the precise results were not disclosed (Gbollie & Keamu, 2017).
It has been shown that kids' academic performance and motivation level are significantly
correlated with the physical amenities that schools provide. The research suggested providing
public schools with top-notch material, human, and physical resources to encourage learning and
boost academic achievement.Furthermore, it was shown that there was a strong relationship
between secondary school pupils' academic progress and the performance of their instructors.
Sturdy monitoring techniques, such looking through students' notebooks, visiting and inspecting
classrooms, looking at instructors' lesson plans and notes, and looking through teachers' record-
keeping, were emphasized as significant elements affecting academic achievement (Giusti et al.,
2021).
Examinations question and marking scheme moderation, class visits, teacher attendance and
punctuality checks, student note checking, and class visits were found to have a major impact on
students' academic performance in English language in senior secondary schools in Ondo State.
Furthermore, the effect of parental wealth on kids' academic achievement was studied, with a
focus on Japanese high schools. The study demonstrated the importance of socioeconomic
determinants in educational outcomes by finding that parental income had a substantial influence
on pupils' academic performance (Machebe, Ezegbe, & Onuoha, 2017).
A study that looked at the psychological distress, burnout, and academic performance of first-
year college students offered insight on the possible relationship between mental health and well-
being and academic ability, albeit the precise results were not accessible (March-Amengual et al.,
2022). In addition, an investigation was conducted on the impact of the mastery learning
technique on the academic performance and retention of senior school pupils. According to
Adeniji et al. (2018), the study probably shed light on how well mastery learning works to boost
students' academic performance and retention in high school. Furthermore, the influence of
lecturers' genuine leadership on academic success and their involvement in fostering
psychologically secure workplaces were investigated. According to Soares and Lopes (2020),
this study probably shed light on the impact of learning environments and leadership on the
academic performance of high school pupils.
Econometric data on senior high school students' academic success in basic calculus was
examined in the context of STEM education, and the results likely provide insight into the
variables impacting academic progress in STEM fields (Casinillo & Aure, 2018).Although the
precise results were not accessible, Tadese et al.'s (2022) study offered insights into the elements
impacting academic accomplishment in a higher education context by examining the predictors
of good academic performance among Ethiopian university students.
In conclusion, the evaluated research offer insightful information on a range of variables that
may affect senior high school students' academic achievement. These comprise parental income,
mental health, linguistic ability, motivation, instructional supervision, mastery learning
strategies, and the learning environment. Future studies should continue to examine the intricate
interactions between these variables and how they affect the academic performance of high
school pupils, as there are still gaps in the literature. Furthermore, additional empirical research
is required to establish focused interventions to assist student achievement and to better
understand the precise processes via which these factors impact academic performance.
The Role of Teacher Support in Students' Coping with Systematic Reporting Methods
The use of systematic reporting methods in educational settings has become increasingly
prevalent, and it is crucial to understand the role of teacher support in students' coping with such
approaches. This literature review seeks to integrate and synthesize findings from various studies
to shed light on this important topic.
Margot and Kettler (2019) investigated teachers' opinions about STEM integration and
instruction using a comprehensive review of the literature. They discovered that encouraging
pupils' interest in STEM courses requires strong teacher assistance. This study implies that,
especially in the context of STEM education, teacher assistance is crucial in helping students
cope with systematic reporting procedures.Similar to this, a systematic assessment of treatments
aimed at promoting the mental health and resilience of frontline health and social care providers
was carried out by Pollock et al. (2020). The results of this study, albeit focusing on a distinct
group, are pertinent to the function that teacher assistance plays in helping students cope. The
study emphasized how crucial social support is for fostering mental health and resilience. This
emphasizes how teacher assistance may affect students' coping strategies while dealing with
systematic reporting techniques.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ye et al. (2020) looked at the mediating roles that coping,
social support, and resilience had on acute stress disorder in college students. The study
emphasized how important social support is in moderating the negative effects of stressful events
on students' mental health. This emphasizes how teachers may assist pupils in overcoming the
difficulties presented by methodical reporting techniques. Finally, during the COVID-19
pandemic, Labrague (2020) carried out a thorough analysis of the psychological resilience,
coping mechanisms, and social support among healthcare professionals. The results are pertinent
to the function of teacher assistance in educational settings, even though the emphasis of the
study was on healthcare professionals. The study emphasized how crucial social support is for
fostering coping strategies and resilience. This research highlights the possible influence of
instructor assistance on students' coping mechanisms when confronted with methodical reporting
techniques.
In conclusion, research suggests that students' ability to deal with systematic reporting
techniques is greatly aided by their teachers' assistance. The results indicate that social support,
resilience, and coping behaviors are important variables that may be impacted by teacher
support. Future studies should carry out more investigation into the precise processes by which
teacher support might improve students' coping strategies in learning environments.
Furthermore, in order to enhance students' academic achievement and well-being, future research
should concentrate on creating and assessing interventions targeted at improving teacher support.
A crucial aspect of financial analysis is financial reporting, which gives stakeholders the data
they need to make informed decisions and develop strategic plans. The usefulness and quality of
financial information can be strongly impacted by the reporting techniques selected. The purpose
of this review of the literature is to investigate the advantages of various reporting techniques in
financial analysis and to suggest possible avenues for further investigation.
The costs and advantages of implementing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
in the UK and Italy were studied by Fox, Alison, et al. (2013). They discovered that although
there were considerable upfront implementation expenses, there were also significant long-term
gains from increased comparability and openness in financial reporting. This implies that the
quality and dependability of financial information may be improved by using standardized
reporting techniques, like IFRS, which will help with financial analysis and decision-making.
According to Debry, T. et al. (2018) explored the advantages of employing individual participant
data in network meta-analysis and gave a summary of available techniques. Although they
concentrated on medical research, financial reporting techniques can benefit from the network
meta-analysis concepts. Financial analysis that makes use of individual participant data may
provide more insightful results and allow for a thorough assessment of various reporting
techniques. A systematic literature study of non-financial reporting forms in public sector
organizations was carried out by Manes-Rossi, Francesca, et al. (2020). Despite the public sector
being the study's primary emphasis, financial analysis in general can benefit from the
conclusions. They emphasized the significance of include non-financial data in reporting formats
and stated that both financial and non-financial indicators should be taken into account in a
thorough examination of financial performance.
Furthermore, Švábová, Lucia et al. (2020) investigated how to find false financial reporting and
profits manipulation in Slovakia. Their study emphasized the need of thorough reporting
procedures in detecting and stopping financial misbehavior. This highlights the necessity of
doing more study to examine the efficacy of various reporting techniques in identifying and
discouraging fraudulent financial transactions.
To summarize up, the literature evaluation offers insightful information about the advantages of
various reporting techniques in financial analysis. The identification of financial wrongdoing, the
use of non-financial data, and standardized reporting procedures are crucial factors to take into
account. Subsequent investigations may concentrate on contrasting various reporting approaches,
examining the influence of non-monetary data on financial evaluations, and creating
sophisticated systems for identifying deceitful financial reporting. Filling up these knowledge
gaps would help advance our understanding of the advantages of various reporting techniques for
financial analysis and decision-making.
An important topic of research is the connection between academic achievement and reporting
practices. In order to comprehend the effect of reporting techniques on academic achievement, as
well as to identify potential knowledge gaps and future study paths, this review of the literature
attempts to synthesize and integrate numerous research findings. Using ensemble approaches,
Amrieh, Elaf Abu, Hamtini, Thair M., and Aljarah, Ibrahim (2016) studied the mining of
educational data to predict academic achievement of students. According to their research,
student academic performance may be accurately predicted by using ensemble approaches.
According to Amrieh et al. (2016), this suggests that applying sophisticated data mining tools
might help find reporting strategies that improve academic achievement.
A thorough literature evaluation was carried out by Hellas et al. (2018) in order to predict
academic achievement. The significance of using data-driven methodologies and predictive
analytics to better understand and improve academic performance was highlighted by their
findings. This suggests that reporting procedures should be optimized for better academic results
by utilizing cutting-edge analytical techniques (Hellas et al., 2018).
Campbell, A., Hao, Peilin, Zhou, Xia, Wang, Rui, and Harari, Gabriella M. (2015) investigated
the use of cellphones to evaluate and forecast college students' academic performance. Their
research proved that using technology to judge academic achievement is feasible. This shows
that using technology reporting techniques to improve academic achievement is possible (Wang
et al., 2015).
Furthermore, Wu, Hongbin, Li, Shan, Zheng, Juan, and Guo, Jianru (2020) looked into how self-
efficacy and learning engagement affected medical students' academic performance and
motivation. Their results made clear how important intrinsic characteristics are in determining
academic performance. This emphasizes how designing reporting techniques with individual
incentives and engagement levels in mind might maximize academic success (Wu et al., 2020).
In addition, Rigolon, A. and Browning, M. (2019) We out a thorough analysis of the literature to
determine how school green space affects student achievement. According to their research,
academic success and having access to green places are positively correlated. This suggests that
environmental influences may have an impact on academic achievement and calls for the use of
holistic reporting techniques that take environmental factors into account (Browning & Rigolon,
2019).
According to the research study, reporting techniques are essential for improving academic
achievement. Nonetheless, the majority of the current study ignores the possible influence of a
variety of reporting techniques, including visual reporting, qualitative assessments, and portfolio-
based evaluations, in favor of concentrating exclusively on predictive analytics, technology
assessments, and individual characteristics. To offer a thorough grasp of their influence on
academic achievement, future studies ought to investigate the integration of diverse reporting
techniques. Further research on the impact of reporting techniques on various subjects and
educational levels might improve the findings' applicability even further. Furthermore,
integrating contextual and environmental aspects into reporting techniques might offer a more
all-encompassing strategy for improving academic achievement. The literature study concludes
by highlighting the significance of reporting techniques in raising academic achievement. It is
clear from integrating and summarizing the research findings that reporting techniques and their
effects on academic outcomes require a more thorough and inclusive approach to be studied. By
addressing the information gaps that have been found and investigating the recommended
avenues for future study, effective reporting techniques that support enhanced academic
performance in a variety of educational contexts can be developed.
All things considered, the assessment of the literature offers insightful information about how
reporting techniques might improve academic achievement and suggests possible directions for
further study in this area.
The impact of reporting techniques on student learning and academic advancement is a complex
matter that involves several facets of student involvement, motivation, emotions, and
instructional approaches. A research by Mega, Ronconi, and Beni (2014) found a strong
correlation between students' motivation, self-regulated learning, emotions, and academic
success. Their results showed that motivation and self-regulated learning are the only ways in
which good emotions can promote academic accomplishment. This emphasizes the need of
considering emotions when assessing student development since it implies that the disclosure of
students' emotional experiences may directly affect their academic achievement.
Moreover, Lei, Cui, and Zhou (2018) discovered that gender, cultural value, and the manner in
which engagement was reported all had an impact on the association between academic
accomplishment and student engagement. This emphasizes how important it is to take gender
and cultural variations into account when evaluating student participation and how it affects
academic advancement. Furthermore, Haidet et al. (2012) found that supportive pedagogies,
cooperation, and authenticity are learning facilitators that promote academic success and student
welfare. This highlights the role that supporting techniques and instructional approaches have in
fostering student learning and academic performance.
The study by Yates, Starkey, Egerton, and Flueggen (2020) found that computer-mediated peer
evaluation is linked to higher learning gains than paper-based peer assessment in the context of
technology-enhanced learning. This implies that there might be a substantial impact on student
learning outcomes from the reporting techniques and technology tools employed for assessment.
Furthermore, Cooper, Downing, and Brownell (2018) showed that consistent use of cooperative
learning can raise students' levels of intrinsic motivation, self-determined motivation, and
recognized regulation in secondary school. This suggests that instructional strategies like
cooperative learning might enhance students' motivation and, as a result, their academic
achievement.
However, there are still gaps in our research regarding how reporting practices affect students'
academic development and learning. More study is also required to examine how students
perceive and feel reporting techniques' impact on teaching and learning (Licorish, Owen, Daniel,
& George, 2018). Future research may also look at the effects of educational recommender
systems and student-facing learning analytics dashboards on academic advancement and student
learning (Bodily & Verbert, 2017).
In summary, the impact of reporting techniques on academic advancement and student learning
is a dynamic and intricate field of study. Understanding the complex nature of this effect requires
the combination of self-regulated learning, motivation, educational tactics, and technology tools
with emotions. In order to improve student learning and academic advancement, educators and
researchers can get important insights by addressing knowledge gaps and considering possible
areas for future study.
Modern reporting techniques are more common in the digital era, changing how information is
shared and accessible. These approaches are not without difficulties, though. The digital divide
and gap, which obstruct access for vulnerable communities, are among the major issues
(Ramsetty & Adams, 2020). Therefore, it is imperative that practitioners and researchers
overcome these obstacles and make sure that cutting-edge reporting techniques are inclusive and
available to everyone.
Scholars have focused a great deal of attention on digital innovation and have emphasized its
significance across a range of fields (Kohli & Melville, 2019). Research on the function of
architectural frames in the digital era has also illuminated the frameworks and tactics that
companies may use to deal with the challenges of digital transformation (Henfridsson,
Mathiassen, & Svahn, 2014). In addition, convergence innovation has drawn attention in the
digital era, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic issue, highlighting the necessity of
flexible and robust reporting techniques (Lee & Trimi, 2020).
The hazards and difficulties that come with using internet and mobile technology, especially for
young people, have also been highlighted by the digital era. Studies have brought attention to the
negative consequences that various user groups face, highlighting the necessity of managing
sexual and aggressive risks in the digital era in an effective and efficient manner (Livingstone &
Smith, 2014; Odgers & Jensen, 2020). In addition, researchers have been interested in rethinking
assessment in the digital era and have examined the advantages, disadvantages, and hazards of
digital assessment techniques (Timmis, Broadfoot, Sutherland, & Oldfield, 2016).
The future of reporting techniques has been investigated in the field of journalism, with an
emphasis on innovation and the changing face of digital journalism (Pavlik, 2013). Verganti,
Vendraminelli, and Iansiti (2020) have explored how artificial intelligence propels innovation
and design, providing insight into the convergence of technology and creativity in the digital era.
Furthermore, the focus has been on the platform industry in the era of digital competition,
innovation, and power, highlighting the strategic significance of digital platforms in changing
information distribution and reporting practices (Malherbe & Simon, 2021).
Even with the wealth of research on cutting-edge reporting techniques in the digital era, there are
still important information gaps that need to be filled. One such gap concerns the moral issues
that arise when using digital reporting techniques, especially when it comes to children and
vulnerable people. To guarantee ethical and inclusive reporting procedures, future studies should
focus on creating ethical frameworks and norms. Furthermore, more research is still needed to
fully understand how new technologies like augmented reality and blockchain may affect
reporting practices. Studies conducted in this field can offer significant perspectives on how
these technologies can transform the availability and distribution of knowledge in the digital era.
In summary, a wide range of subjects are covered in the literature on creative reporting
techniques in the digital age, from technical advancement and digital innovation to the hazards
and difficulties of using online platforms. Even though the current body of study offers insightful
information, more research ought to fill in the knowledge gaps and investigate how emerging
technology can revolutionize reporting practices in the future. Researchers and practitioners may
help shape inclusive, moral, and effective reporting practices in the digital era by doing this.
