OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

This course is developed for the BS Programme in different subjects / faculties offered by
Allama lqbal Open University Islamabad. The course comprises 9 units of 3 Credit-Hour
as per H.E.0 approved criteria. The aim is to provide brief introduction to the students
regarding the history of Pakistan and its ideological foundations. Specifically, the course
will touch on the challenges of the country with special reference to its Constitutional
development, Culture, Economy, Politics, and other contemporary issues of the country.
