Description:
A high build two component surface tolerant epoxy mastic, based on polyamide. High resistance to corrosion with excellent adhesion.
Suitable for heavy duty atmospheric systems.
Recommended Use:
As surface tolerant primer or mid coat for structural steel in atmospheric environment, suitable for new construction and ideal for maintenance
on carbon steel, galvanized steel, aluminium, stainless steel and concrete. Where excellent corrosion resistance and high dry film thickness are
required for inshore and offshore structures.

Surface Preparation:
STEEL:
• Remove all visible surface deposits such as grease, oils with suitable detergent per (SSPC-SP1).
• Remove salt and other contaminants by washing using high pressure fresh water.
• Any fabrication defects such as weld spatter, delamination,sharp edges and weld slag should be repaired prior to surface preparation.
• The surface must be prepared according to ISO 8501-1 (min St 2 , recommended Sa 2½ ) - SSPC-SP10.
CONCRETE:
• All new surfaces must be cured at least for 30 days prior to application.
• The concrete substrate should be sound with minimum compresive strength 30 N/mm² and pull off strength 1.5 N/mm².
• Make sure that the surface is clean , dry , free from dust, oil, grease, salt , mold, all forms release agents /curing and old paint.
• the surface should be prepared by light grit blasting or suface grinding to achieve concrete surface profile CSP1-3 as per International Concrete
Repaire Institute ICRI. No 310.2R / SSPC - SP 13 or NACE 6.
• Fill the holes and cracks with suitable fillers "Jazera Epoxy Crack Filler 400 " prior to application.
• Remove dust from the surface by vacuum machine.

MAINTENANCE:
• Remove damaged areas using hand / power tool
• Surface should be clean , dry , free from dust, oil, grease, salt and mold.
Application Condition:
• Temperature during application should be more than (5°C).
• Surface temperature: at least (3°C) above dew point.
• Relative humidity: maximum 85%.

Drying Time and Recoating:

Drying times are generally related to air circulation, temperature, film thickness and number of coats, and will be affected correspondingly.

Note: All records given in the table are typical at recommended film thickness, good ventilation and one coat system.
Painting System:
Can be used as a primer or mid coat.
• Primers: “Jazeera Epo-Rich Primer”, “Jaz Inorganic Zinc Prime” or any suitable epoxy primer from Jazeera Paints.
• Topcoats: Can be overcoated with all kinds of Epoxy and PU.
For other suitable topcoats, consult Jazeera TSD.

Shelf Life & Storage:

• Shelf life : 12 months @ 25 °C.
• Storage: The container should be kept in sealed, dry, cool, well ventilated place and stored in accordance with national regulations.
Handling and Safety:

• Clean up: Use "Jazeera Thinner 505" for cleaning tools and in case of stains while application.
• Handling: Handle with care. Stir very well before use.
• Health and safety:Please read and follow the precautionary notices displayed on the container, and all caution statements on the MSDS
of this product.During application of paint, contact of liquid paint with eyes, skin, inhalation of paint mist and paint vapor should be strongly
avoided.For spray application systems; applicator should wear protective clothing, gloves, also eye, skin and respiratory protection are
always recommended Keep away from reach of children.
• Ventilation: When used in enclosed areas, thoroughair circulation must be used during and afterapplication until the coating is cured. In
addition, respirators must be used by all applicator.
• Caution: This product contains flammable solvents, keep away from sparks and open flame. For information on LEL and TLV, please read
the MSDS.
• Environmental safety: Please donate the leftover paint and packaging to your local authorized institution for usage or recycling purpose.
• Note: Wastes and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations made under the Control of Pollution Act
and the Environmental Protection Act.
