CLIL METHODOLOGY
The content and language Integrated Learning was introduced by David Marsh in 1994 and
it was introduced in Italy with the Gelmini Reform in 2010, by the way with the law known as
Buona Scuola, the CLIL methodology has become one of the objectives of the Italian school
system.
It consists in an educational approach where subjects are taught in a foreign language,
integrating both the subject matter and language learning, also the CLILl methodology offers
a holistic approach to learning that prepares students for global communication and
interdisciplinary understending.

2. RISK A.I
The artificial intelligence has many risk for the students because it cause:
● a creative block
● an dependence by technology hindering the development of critical thinking and
problem solving skills
● it may reduce meaningful interactions between students and teachers

3. Agenda 2030
In 2015 the members of the United Nations approved a document for Sustainable
Developments. It aims to guide global efforts towards sustainable developments over 15
years, with a focus on protecting the planet and ensuring prosperity for all. Among its 17
objectives, Objective 4 covers education to foster quality, fair and inclusive education and
learning opportunities for all. In Italy, the program is divided into three objectives, expressed
in the 8 key competences declined by the European Union and included in the 2018 National
Guidelines.

4. Tecnologie in classe (intro+primi due punti Chiara)


Digital pedagogy is a must-have skill for teachers in the 21st century. Using technology and
Digital tools in the classroom are the most effective and versatile teaching strategy.
Technology provides teachers with a range of educational resources. Furthermore, it also
provides a seamless, practical and more engaging platform to instruct the students.
Technology also enables teachers to integrate different learning styles in the classroom.
Some digital tools recommended for teachers are:
● Canva: it is a graphic design platform that allows users to create social media
graphics, presentations, posters, and other visual content.
● Google classroom is a suite of online tools that allows teachers to set assignments,
have work submitted by students, to mark, and to return graded papers. It was
created as a way to eliminate paper in classes and to make digital learning possible.
It was initially planned for use with laptops in schools, such as Chromebooks, in
order to allow the teacher and students to more efficiently share information and
assignments. Using Google Classroom, teachers can share additional practice
sheets with students who need additional support on any topic or challenging
worksheets for high achievers. This can be shared with students individually using
this platform.
● Cmaptools is software designed specifically for making and sharing concept mapsis
used for education, training, knowledge management, brainstorming, organizing
information, among other applications.
Other useful tools for digital education include the use of LIM, an element that allows you to
work with class in an interactive way, to build maps and to view multimedia content useful for
insights.
5. Cosa insegnare il primo giorno di scuola?
On the first day of school it is advisable to get acquainted with the class, leaving space for
the students to introduce themselves and perhaps understand what the expectations for the
year are, as well as the teacher’s presentation of the way the year will be organized.

ICT (Information and Communication Technology) learning involves the use of digital tools
and resources to enhance educational experiences and outcomes. Here’s an in-depth look

- Communication as tools Email, messaging apps, video conferencing tools, and
collaborative platforms.
- Digital Literacy that is skills and knowledge required to use ICT effectively, safely, and
responsibly.

The Benefits of ICT Learning are to realize personalized learning, to improve collaboration,
ICT tools facilitate collaborative learning, allowing students to work together on projects and
share ideas easily, to access a wide range of internet resources and to develop digital skills
that are crucial for the modern workplace.
Another important aspect it’s on flexibility, ICT supports various learning environments,
including in-person, remote, and hybrid models, providing flexibility in how education is
delivered and accessed.
By addressing challenges and following best practices, educators can effectively integrate
ICT into their teaching, preparing students for a digital future and enhancing their overall
learning experience.

7. English words
Between the methodology there are many of them that helps teachers and student on the
process learning-teaching:
- Circle time: it’s a teaching strategy really successful for a socio-affective education.
The circle arrangement creates an atmosphere of serenity and sharing facilitating
dialogue, confrontation and strengthening of the bonds in the classroom.
- Brainstorming: it’s a group creative technique that allows ideas to emerge aimed at
solving a problem
- Flipped classroom: the student learns at home by web or by watching documentary
and in class they do the homework or compare what they learned. The teachers
become a tutor.
- Cooperative learning: it’s an inclusive methodology that allows to organize the activity
in different small groups. Each members in the group must works to improve others
and is own knowledge
8. Work experiences
I don't a have a really consolidated experience as a teachers like the other co-workers that
attended the exams this day, but I can say that during this years I worked as a teacher in a
Professional School and I think it was a wonderful experiences because I realize how
important is the teacher's figure for the adolescence. Obviously being a teacher certainly
implies a lot of tasks and responsibilities, but I think that being a reference model and
contributing to the formative process of adolescents is something immensely
gratifying.
By the way, before this year I’ve done the Servizio Civile in one High School where I have
held various tasks related to administrative and teaching support, for example, I have held
Italian language enhancement courses for students in difficulty.
Also in 2022 I worked as a tutor in my University for students with Bes Student and I gave
private lessons in Italian literature to a university student with Down syndrome.

9. How do you learn english?


I learned english in High School. I attended language school and I was lucky to have a very
well-trained teacher and an excellent conversation teacher. Also during this year I took a
course with the University Ecampus to get the level certification C2.
I want to point out that I try to keep myself always trained with the English language by
watching movies in language and listening to different songs or trying to translate the lyrics.

10. Present yourself


My name is SofiaFrancesca, but everybody calls me Sofi or Sofietta. I was born on the 25
April 2000. I live in Palermo, a city in the south of Italy and I live with my parents and my little
sisters MariaLavinia; we have three cats, Mia, Picasso and Tigro. I’m graduated at Università
degli Studi di Palermo with a master’s degree in Italian.
I’m busy in long distance relationships, my boyfriend is a policeman who lives in Ovada, a
really small city in Piemonte.
I work as a teacher at Euroform Institute, it’s a professional school where students learn how
to become a cook, hairstyler or a motor vehicle repairers.
During my free time I like reading political or history books, I also like going out with my best
friends or doing shopping with my sisters. To keep me fit, I go to the gym three times a week
to do weightlifting.
