1 EXT. EARTH - AFTER THE FALL 1

The world feels eerily silent. What was once a vibrant,

peaceful place feels like it’s been turned on its head.
We pan out of Earth and go up transporting through the cosmos
into Heaven.

2 EXT. HEAVEN- A ROOM OF PURE WHITE WALLS WHERE THE FATHER 2

STANDS
the silence travels into Heaven as well. All angels are left
speechless. Some are staring blankly, some are seen weeping
Pans to The Father, he sighs in a disappointed manner
Gabriel runs towards The Father
GABRIEL
Father, Father forgive us. We did
all we could. How did he enter the
Garden?! What do we do?
THE FATHER
Gabriel, that is enough. There is
no need to forgive you as you did
nothing wrong, feel no guilt for it
is through me that this happened.
As soon as he says His last word, The Son enters. They almost
have a telepathic connection, as The Father is never seen
calling for him.
THE SON
You called for me Father?
THE FATHER
Son, you volunteered to save
humanity, becoming one of them when
the time is right. Now you must go
to Earth and judge them mercifully.
The Son nods and exits the room followed by angels.

3 EXT. EARTH - AFTER THE FALL- SUNSET (BLACK AND WHITE) 3

THE SON
Adam! Eve?! Where are you?
Adam and Eve emerge from behind a tree, heads down with shame

ADAM
We are here God. We are ashamed and afraid and naked…
THE SON
Who told you you were naked? Did you eat from the Forbidden
Tree?

ADAM
It was her God! She told me to do
it!
EVE
No God it was the Serpent! He
tricked me!
The Son turns around in frustration and facepalms
JUMP CUT TO:

4 EXT. EARTH - AFTER THE FALL 4

THE SON
You! Serpent for what you've done I
will curse you!
The Son points to the Serpent.
THE SON (V.O.)

Because thou hast done this, thou art accurst Above all
Cattle, each Beast of the Field; Upon thy Belly groveling
thou shalt goe, And dust shalt eat all the dayes of thy
Life. Between Thee and the Woman I will put Enmitie, and
between thine and her Seed; Her Seed shall bruse thy head,
thou bruise his heel.

An image of many snakes tangled up in a sort of rat king

appears. A snake's head is crushed.
THE SON (V.O.)

Eve! (points) Thy sorrow I will greatly multiplie By thy

Conception; Children thou shalt bring In sorrow forth, and to
thy Husbands will Thine shall submit, hee over thee shall
rule.

Eve is seen facing away from the camera, she slowly turns
around revealing a baby bump, pain and fear in her eyes

Scream

 Paradise Lost 3.

THE SON (V.O.)

(points) Adam! Because thou hast heark'nd to the voice of thy

Wife, And eaten of the Tree concerning which I charg'd thee,
saying: Thou shalt not eate thereof, Curs'd is the ground for
thy sake, thou in sorrow Shalt eate thereof all the days of
thy Life; Thorns also and Thistles it shall bring thee
forth Unbid, and thou shalt eate th' Herb of th' Field, In
the sweat of thy Face shalt thou eat Bread, Till thou return
unto the ground, for thou Out of the ground wast taken, know
thy Birth, For dust thou art, and shalt to dust returne.
Adam is seen working tirelessly, facing away from the camera.
The camera pans around him revealing tired, sad eyes.

rise of noise, thunder, loudness in The Son's voice, the

screams, the crushing of the skull, Adam axing a tree.
Everything repeating and growing louder and then.

Black Screen
Silence.

ringing
FADE IN

5 EXT. EARTH - AFTER THE FALL- TWILIGHT 5

The Son helps to clothe Adam and Eve. A personal moment
between Creator and Creature. Father and Children. A sad, yet
comforting smile on The Son's face. Then he ascends back into
Heaven.

6 EXT. HELL 6
Sin and Death start getting impatient and riled up waiting
for Satan. They begin to reach towards Earth, creating a
bridge. They laugh maniacally and scream violently.

7 EXT. EARTH - AFTER THE FALL- NIGHT 7

Sin and Death find themselves near Earth and they see a
disguised, hidden Satan. Satan goes to meet them.

SIN
Father! You have won us freedom.
The world is ours! If you can't be
king of Heaven, Earth will be your
kingdom.

 Paradise Lost 4.

SATAN
My children. You've made Hell and
Earth one. This place (raises his
arms and looks around proudly) is
yours. Live and torment men here,
nothing can stop us. Now enjoy!

Satan winks at Sin and Death and joyfully descends back into
Hell.

8 EXT. HELL 8

Yelling and laughing and chaos resides in every corner of

Hell. Demons are anxiously waiting for Satan to return. He
sneaks in unnoticed and appears in front of them sitting on
his throne with a crown on his head and a large royal cape.

He cackles in their faces like a hyena.

SATAN
My children! My kingdom! Oh, how
I've missed you so... Hahaha. My
journey was long and treacherous.
And don't fret, I'll gladly have
time for questions later but I'm
sure you're all dying to hear the
best part! The "all-knowing" Father
was SOOOOOOOO offended by little
old me that he gave up his beloved
creation to... us.
Satan bursts out laughing, expecting a roar of laughter from
his loyal subjects. What he hears surprises him...loud
hissing.

All the demons had turned into snakes along with Satan.
Branches begin to grow from beneath the Earth, and a tall
tree eventually stands in place of Satan's throne. The snakes
try to eat the fruit from this tree, but it turns to ashes
when they bite into an apple. Nonetheless, they keep trying
to eat them in what seems like a never-ending cycle.

9 EXT. HEAVEN 9

The Father and The Son are watching the Earth fall into chaos
through Sin and Death. The angels are tilting the Earth's
axis, and Discord has caused the animals and Man to turn on
each other— chaos.
THE FATHER

 Paradise Lost 5.

Look at them. How happily they turn

creation into destruction. How
foolish do they think I am? How
weak? My Son, once they have
cleared the Earth of all its
impurities, be sure they are sent
back to Hell so that Earth can be
pure again.

ZOOM IN

10 EXT. EARTH - AFTER THE FALL 10

ADAM
So... is this the end? It was only
just beginning. God. (sighs)
Adam sits hugging his knees. He looks up for an answer. Tears
well up in his eyes. They drop to the Earth. When he gets no
response he puts his head between his hands.

Eve sees him in distress and comes from behind him, a hand on
his shoulder trying to comfort him. He flinches away from
her.
ADAM
Leave me alone! You can't do that.
Not after this. You're no different
from that snake! Stay. Away....
(more softly) I trusted you Eve.

He looked up at her, but she did not move. She sat next to
him, tears in her eyes as well.

EVE
(softly) Adam, please. Don't turn
me away. I love you, you know I
love you. I didn't mean for this to
happen. Please don't hate me.
Please.

(a beat)
Adam takes her hand and Eve places her head on his shoulder.

(a beat)

EVE
Let's not have kids.

ADAM
What?

 Paradise Lost 6.

EVE
Adam, we can't bring children into
this world. Not like this. And if
that's not alright with you then...
let's end it now. Look for Death or
do it ourselves, who cares? It'll
happen in the end anyway.

Adam pauses and reflects on what Eve tells him. He wraps his
arm around her.

ADAM
I'm scared too. But ending it will
only make our suffering worse in
the end. The Father has a plan.
"Her Seed shall bruse thy head".
There is hope, there is mercy,
that's all we need.
zoom out

Adam and Eve continue to talk, music plays, zoom out.

They kneel beside each other and pray.

FADE TO BLACK.

11 EARTH AFTER THE FALL- MORNING 11

Adam and Eve are peacefully working the land together.
Silently. Off in the distance Adam and Eve see a small lamb
getting eaten by vultures. Suddenly a bright light is seen
from above. Adam and Eve look up shielding their eyes.
Angels.

ADAM
I'll go see what's wrong. Stay
here.

Adam meets Michael on a hill. Adam bows. Michael doesn't. He

is serious and carrying his sword.
From a distance we see their serious conversation. Michael
tells Adam that they have to leave Eden. Adam is visibly
saddened. Michael comforts him.

12 EXT. ADAM'S VISION 12

Based on John Milton's Epic

 Paradise Lost 7.

The visions are quick like flashes. He sees Cain and Abel, a
hospital with death, suffering, disease, and pain, he sees
prostitution, war, and Noah's Ark. After this he will see
faithful people but only for a short time as eventually they
will grow overly ambitious and seek glory over God. Then he
sees Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, David,
Solomon, and eventually The Messiah.

After this Adam goes back to Eve and wakes her up.

13 EXT. EDGE OF EDEN 13

Michael walks Adam and Eve hand in hand outside of Eden. Adam
and Eve look back at Eden one last time. A tear rolls down
each of their faces. They walk away holding hands.
FADE TO BLACK.
