Product description:
MIXSEAL CR100 is crystalline waterproofing coating, cementitious based. Mixseal CR100 consists of
Portland cement, specially quartz sand and active chemical. When Mixseal CR100 is applied to a
concrete surface, the active chemicals react with moisture and the by-products of cement hydration to
case a catalytic reaction that generates an insoluble, crystalline structure. These crystals fill the pores
and minor shrinkage crack in the concrete to prevent any further water.

Directions for use:
Dry shake on the lean concrete:
• The surface of lean concrete can damp but no water standing;

• Spinkle the Mixseal CR100 powder by hand at the same time of concrete pouring processing;
Dry shake on the fresh concrete surface:
• As soon as the subtrate of concrete has reached plasticity (after bleeding, but before setting
begins) smooth out the surfacing of the freshly poured concrete and level off with a vibrating straight
edge;
• Sprinkle the Mixseal CR100 powder by hand over the smooth wet surface;
• Allow the Mixseal CR100 to absorb moisture from the subtrate and when evenly moisture, finish the
surface by power float machine or trowel.
Slurry consistency:
• Concrete surfaces to be treated must be clean and free of laitance, dirt, film, paint, coating or other
foreign matter. The surface must also have an open capillary system to provide. If surface is too
smooth (e.g where steel forms are used) or covered with excess form oil or other…

• Mixseal required a saturated surface dry condition. Concrete surfaces must be thoroughly saturated
with clean water prior to the application so as to aid the diffusion of the Mixseal chemistry and to
ensure growth of the crystalline formation deep within the pores of the concrete. Remove excess water
before the application such that there is no glistening water on the surface. If concrete dries out before
application, it must be re-wetted.
• Mix Mixseal powder with clean water to a creamy consistency. In the following proportions (5 parts
powder to 2 parts water);
• Apply Mixseal with a semi-stiff nylon bristle brush, push broom (for large horizontal surface).
Note:
• Curing should begin as soon as the Mixseal has set to the point where it’ll not be damaged by a
spray of water. Under normal conditions, it’s sufficient to spray surfaces three times per day for 2 to
3 days. In hot or arid climates, spraying may be required more frequently.
• For concrete structures that hold liquids (e.g. tanks, swimming pool, etc) Mixseal should be cured
for three days and allowed to set for 12 days (18 days for waste water or corrosive solutions) before
filling the structure with liquid.
Safe handling Information:
• Mixseal CR100 is alkaline. As a cememtitious powder or mixture, may cause significant skin and
eye irritation;
• Each sheet contains health and safety information for the protection of workers and customer.
Storage:
• Must be stored dry, cool, shaded place;
• Shelf life one year, if stored properly in unopened, original packaging.
Note: Mixseal warrants that the products manufactured by it shall be free from material defects and will conform to formulation standards and
contain all components in their proper proportion. Should any of the products be proven defective, the liability to Mixseal shall be limited to
replacement of the material proven to be defective, and Mixseal shall in no case be liable otherwise or for incidental or consequential damages.
Mixseal makes no warranty as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and this warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or
implied. User shall determine the suitability of the product for its intended use and assume all risks and liability in connection therewith..
