*Gauge and yarns are not important I used a combination of yarn brands (Hobby Lobby’s I love
this yarn, red heart, vanna’s choice and mystery yarn) Just make sure if you’re switching yarn
brands that they are all the same weight (as in all a worsted weight or all sports weight). Also if
you want this doll smaller or larger just change your hook size accordingly.

**For cuffs re-attach red yarn to the front loops of the jacket. Slst ch1 and sc in each sc (12sc)
Attach red yarn to the front loops of round 9 body. **You will want to attach the arms and legs
first so you will know where the center of your body is. This is because you will want to skip the
three center sts – to allow room for the front trench coat part.**
Row 1: Find center sc, skip the center sc and the sc to the right of the center sc. Attach yarn to
the next sc with a slst ch1 and sc in the next 32sts (33sc) You should have three loops in the
front.

You should already have your arms and legs attached from when you added the “tail” of the
trench coat. Sew on all body parts according to picture. I found it easiest to attach head then
trench coat front and collar. I then added the ears and trench coat “chains” last.
Once all parts are sewn into place you start by cutting 2” pieces of yellow yarn for the hair.
Unfortunately I did not count the number of pieces I used. Using the latch hook and picture as a
guide, begin latch hooking in hair. (I found this part particularly time consuming and annoying!)
Then cut two small circles (only a little larger than the eyes) out of the yellow felt. Place directly
under the safety eyes. Then cut two zip zags out of the black felt – stretching from the ear to
where you have placed the yellow sunglasses circles. Once these are the position you want them
in use the hot glue gun and glue in place.
Take your black fabric paint and add the buttons to the jacket – using the picture as a guide. (I
also added white fabric paint for his earring you can use white yarn or leave it off).
