Notes:
Electrical parameters are based on nominal cable diameters, subject to impact of dimensional variations.
RCA = alternating current (60Hz) Resistance per unit of length of the conductor at the maximum operating temperature.
XL = alternating current (60Hz) Inductive reactance for the illustrated cable arrangement.
XC = alternating current (60Hz) Capacitive reactance between conductor and metal shield.

A2 - Single-core cables in air, in trefoil or flat touching, exposed to direct sunlight. F2 - Single-core cables in conduit embedded in concrete, in trefoil or flat touching.
B1 - Single-core cables in air, flat spaced, not exposed to direct sunlight. G1 - Single-core cables in earthenware ducts, single-way ducts, flat spaced.
B2 - Single-core cables in air, flat spaced, exposed to direct sunlight. G2 - Single-core cables in conduit embedded in concrete, single-way ducts.
C - Single-core cables in covered ducts or troughs, in trefoil or flat touching. H - Single-core cables buried direct in the ground, in trefoil or flat touching.
D - Single-core cables in covered ducts or troughs, flat spaced. I - Single-core cables buried direct in the ground, flat spaced.
E - Single-core cables in aerial duct, in trefoil or flat touching, not exposed to sunlight.

Conductor temperature: 90ºC. Ambient air temperature: 30ºC. Ambient ground temperature: 20ºC. Thermal resistivity of soil: 2,5K.m/W. 100% load factor.
Correction factors for other temperatures, installation conditions, and grouping are given in ABNT NBR 14039 (Medium voltage electrical installations from 1,0 kV
to 36,2 kV). It is recommended that cable shields be bonded at both ends for circuits longer than 150 meters.
