    Insights Discovery

    Customers with Pulse enabled send telemetry data to Nutanix Insights, enabling you to
    check your clusters' status in the Nutanix Support Portal. Any clusters exposed to this
    issue will automatically create a Discovery Recommendation action in the Nutanix
    Support Portal. It is recommended that you check all Discoveries and follow the
    recommended actions to maintain optimal cluster health. The following Discovery relates
    to this Field Advisory:

    Description

    Nutanix has identified an issue where Prism Central clusters could experience high
    memory and CPU utilization. The problem is prevalent on Prism Central clusters with
    additional products and features enabled (see list below).

    Products and Features that could impact resource usage when enabled:
    ● Intelligent Ops (formerly AIOps or NCM Ops)
    ● Self-Service (formerly Calm)
    ● Nutanix Disaster Recovery (formerly Leap)
    ● Flow Virtual Networking
    ● Flow Network Security (formerly Flow Microsegmentation)

    Symptoms include:

    ● Login Issues to Prism Central


    ● Prism Central performance issues, such as timeouts or unexpected disconnects

    Identification
    To determine the Prism Central version, perform the following:
    ● Log on to Prism Central
    ● Click on the username (on the top right) > About Nutanix

    Prism Central clusters below version pc.2023.3 are not affected by this issue.

    Workaround

    Customers running the affected versions should follow the steps in KB-16302 to configure
    Prism Central clusters according to the prescribed sizing guidelines.

    Resolution
    Customers who have Prism Central with additional products and features enabled are
    advised to avoid upgrading to pc.2023.3.x or 2023.4.

    Nutanix is actively working on resolving this issue and recommends customers affected
    upgrade to the release containing the fix when available.
