1. How did you learn about the concepts of right and wrong, morality and ethical behavior?

- He said that he learned the concept of right and wrong, morality and ethical behavior through
combination of cultural upbringing, societal standards, personal experiences, education, and
reflection, he learned about conceptions of right and wrong, morality, and ethical action. These ideas
are frequently influenced by social interactions, intellectual ideas, religious teachings, and family
values. To assess and improve their comprehension of what is morally and ethically acceptable, He
said additionally that he also used reasoning, empathy, and critical thinking.

2. In your opinion, what is the most important aspect to consider in deciding what is right and
wrong? Ask them to cite example.

- He said that taking into account the effects of his activities is an important component. For
example, we must assess the benefits of sparing someone’s feelings against the possible harm of
telling a falsehood in order to determine if it is appropriate to do so. He much better to lie to protect
his feeling from the false statements of the other.
3. How morality be taught to young children and adolescents?

- In his own idea, he said that morality taught by establishing clear rules and expectations for
behavior, emphasizing principles like honesty, kindness, and empathy. When the young children was
born the parents should be the first teacher who need to counsel their children to know what is right
and wrong.

1.How did you learn about the concepts of right and wrong, morality and
ethical behavior?
-He said that he learned the concepts of right and wrong, morality and ethical
behavior after his imprisonment and through the help of counseling and self-
realization when he is inside the prison and also with the help of his family that he
realized that he need to change his character and what he doing before for the sake
of his family.

2. In your opinion, what is the most important aspect to consider in deciding


what is right and wrong? Ask them to cite example.
- He said that we must evaluate ourselves, we must know the consequence of what
we are doing if those things happened to you? What would you feel? For example,
me as an ex-convict engaged again in what I doing before, so I will use self-
reflection, If I will do this again what will happen in my family after? I will put my
situation as my parents so that I can realize that what I’m doing is wrong.

3. How morality be taught to young children and adolescents?


- According to him morality can be taught to young children and adolescents through
the basic principles like honesty, kindness and respectfulness so that when they
grow up they will know what’s right and wrong doing. He said also that he is the older
brother so he must become a role model to his brothers and sisters. Additionally,
morality can be taught through open communication where the parents and children
open to each other so that the child will not be shy to tell what’s going to their minds.

1. How did you learn about the concepts of right and wrong, morality and
ethical behavior?
- He said “As a dedicated councilor actively involved in creating
ordinances and programs for the community, my understanding of right
and wrong, morality, and ethical behavior has deepened through a
combination of personal values, community feedback, and continuous
learning. Engaging with residents, seeking input from experts, and
collaborating with fellow council members have provided insights into
diverse perspectives on ethical decision-making. Through practical
experience in drafting and implementing ordinances that prioritize the
well-being of constituents, He additionally said, “I have honed my
ethical compass and commitment to serving with integrity”.

2. In your opinion, what is the most important aspect to consider in


deciding what is right and wrong? Ask them to cite example.
- According to him the most crucial aspect in determining right and
wrong is considering the broader impact on the community. By
prioritizing the collective welfare and equity of all residents in decision-
making processes, ethical choices emerge that benefit the greater
good. For example, when developing a recreational program, ensuring
accessibility for individuals of all ages and abilities promotes inclusivity
and demonstrates a commitment to fairness and community well-being.

3. How morality be taught to young children and adolescents?


- He said that teaching morality to young children and adolescents
requires a multi-faceted approach that combines education, positive
role models, and hands-on experiences. Through interactive
workshops, storytelling sessions, and mentorship programs embedded
in the recreational initiatives created by the council and implemented
by different sectors the moral values such as respect, responsibility,
and compassion are instilled in the youth. By providing opportunities for
young individuals to practice empathy, critical thinking, and cooperation
in a supportive environment, moral lessons are internalized, shaping
their ethical decision-making skills for the future.
