TRAP

Trap is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in the Southern United
States during the early 1990s. The genre gets its name from the Atlanta slang
word "trap", which refers to a place in which drugs are sold illegally. Trap music
uses synthesized rums and is characterized by complicated hi-hat patterns,
tuned kick drums with a long decay (originally from the Roland TR-808 drum
machine), atmospheric synths, and lyrical content that often focuses on drug
use and urban violence. It utilizes very few instruments and focuses almost
exclusively on snare drums and double- or triple-timed hi-hats. This is the
signature sound of trap music.

Pioneers of the genre include producers Kurtis Mantronik, Mannie Fresh,

Shawty Redd, Zaytoven, and Toomp, along with rappers Young Jeezy, Gucci
mane and T.l. (who coined the term with his 2003 album Trap Muzik). However,
the modern trap sound was popularized by producer Lex Luger, who produced
the influential Waka Flocka Flame album Flockaveli in 2010, and co founded the
prolific hip-hop production team 808 Mafia.

Since crossing over into the mainstream in the 2010s, trap has become one of
the most popular forms of American music, consistently dominating the
Billboard Hot 100 throughout the decade, with artists such as Drake, Kendrick
Lamar, Cardi B, Migos, Lil Uzi Vert, 24kGoldn, iann dior, Post Malone,
XXXTentacion, and Travis Scott (among many others) all achieving No. 1s on
the chart with songs that belong to the trap subgenre. It has influenced the
music of many pop artist, such as Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Demi
Lovato, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez. Its influence can also be
heard in reggaetón and K-pop. In 2018, hip-hop became the most popular form
of music for the time ever (according to Nielsen Data), coinciding with trap's
continued rise in popularity. In 2019, the trap-inspired country/rap crossover
"Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus) broke the record for
spending the most weeks (19 weeks) at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as
well as becoming the fastest song to reach a Diamond Certification.

Money Heist
Money Heist (Spanish: La casa de papel, "The House of Paper") is a Spanish
heist crime drama television series created by Alex Pina. The series traces two
long-prepared heists led by the Professor (Álvaro Morte), one on the Royal Mint
of Spain, and one on the Bank of Spain. The narrative is told in a real-time-like
fashion and relies on flashbacks, time-jumps, hidden character motivations, and
an unreliable narrator for complexity. The series subverts the heist genre by
being told from the perspective of a woman, Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), and
having a strong Spanish identity, where emotional dynamics offset the perfect
strategic crime.

The series was initially intended as a limited series to be told in two parts. It had
its original run of 15 episodes on Spanish network Antena 3 from 2 May 2017
through 23 November 2017. Netflix acquired global streaming rights in late 2017
It re-cut the series into 22 shorter episodes and released them worldwide,
beginning with the first part on 20 December 2017, followed by the second part
on 6 April 2018. In April 2018, Netflix renewed the series with a significantly
increased budget for 16 new episodes total. Part 3, with eight episodes, was
released on 19 July 2019. Part 4, also with eight episodes, was released on 3
April 2020. A documentary involving the producers and the cast premiered on
Netflix the same day, titled Money Heist: The Phenomenon (Spanish: La casa
de papel: E/ Fenómeno). In July 2020, Netflix renewed the show for a fifth and
final part. The series was filmed in Madrid, Spain. Significant portions of part 3
and 4 were also filmed in Panama, Thailand, and Italy (Florence).

The series received several awards including Best Drama Series at the 46th
International Emmy Awards, as well as critical acclaim for its sophisticated plot,
interpersonal dramas, direction, and for trying to innovate Spanish television.
The Italian anti-fascist song "Bella ciao," which plays multiple times throughout
the series, became a summer hit across Europe in 2018. By 2018, the series
was the most-watched non-English language series and one of the most-
watched series overall on Netflix, with a particular resonance coming from
viewers from Mediterranean Europe and the Latin American world.
Surfing in Australia ()

Australia is renowned as one of the world's premier surfing destinations. Surfing

underpins an important part of the Australian coastal fabric. It forms part of a
lifestyle in which millions participate and which millions more have an interest.
Australian surfboard-makers have driven innovation in surfboard design and
production since the mid-1960s. The country has launched corporate giants
such as Billabong, Rip Curl and Quiksilver.

No surfing is possible in many parts of northern Australia due to coral reefs

subduing waves. Modern surfboard design has been shaped by both Australian
and Californian developments. For many years the sport was closely associated
with the surf life saving movement in Australia.

Surfing was brought to Australia in 1915 by Hawaiian Duke Kahanamoku. He

demonstrated this ancient Hawaiian board riding technique at Freshwater (or
Harbord) in Sydney, New South Wales. Kahanamoku's board is now on display
in the northeast end of the Freshwater Surf lifesaving club, Sydney, Australia.

In 1956, a team of lifeguards from the US introduced Malibu boards to Australia.

In the 1960s, Australian surfboard designer Bob McTavish invented the V-
bottom surfboard, which is considered instrumental to the development of
shortboard surfing.

Australia has produced multiple ASP world champions, such as Wayne

Bartholomew, Tom Carroll, Barton Lynch, Damien Hardman, Mark Occhilupo,
Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson, Stephanie Gilmore, Layne Beachley, Wendy
Botha, Pauline Menczer, Chelsea Georgeson and Mark Richards.

The World Surf League incorporates three major championship titles held in
Australia: the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast, Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, and the
Drug Aware Margaret River Pro.

One of the most successful Australian surfers, Mick Fanning, has won four titles
at Bells Beach, earning him the number one spot in the surfing ranks.

The culture of surfing has grown dramatically from just being a relaxed way of
living to a mainstream sport. The progression has led to research on the health
benefits of surfing. The sport promotes cardiovascular fitness, muscular
strength and balance. These physical benefits come from the constant paddling
through the water, increasing arm and back strength whilst also increasing the
heart rate. Surfing also gives one a chance to think and relax in an environment
that decreases stress and relaxes the muscles.

Indonesia: weather & when to go
The dry season in Indonesia spans from May to September and this is the most
popular time Indonesia. Wet season is between October & April, with rainfall
occurring in short, heavy bursts. There are some regional exceptions and north
Sulawesi experiences some rain in June & July. Temperatures remain fairly
constant year round with averages of 28°C throughout the region.
Weather in Indonesia can be split into two seasons - wet and dry - with warm
tropical temperatures averaging 28°C during the day, throughout the year. In
most regions, the dry season spans from May to September, With the rains
falling between October and April.
There are some regional exceptions. On Sumatra it rains from October to
January in the north, and November to February in the south. Sulawesi, with its
unusual shape, also experiences slightly different weather patterns and rainfall
can be expected in the northern regions of the island during June and July.
Generally speaking, the best time of year to visit Indonesia is between May and
September when the days are dry and sunny. However, during wet season
temperatures remain high and rainfall comes in the form of intense tropical
downpours that tend to last for a couple of hours and needn't spoil your trip.
In some regions the difference between the two seasons is not extreme: Bali
and Kalimantan, for example, are relatively unaffected by the season change,
but the contrast typically grows as you travel further east into the Nusa
Tenggara region (to the islands of Lombok, Flores and beyond) where there is a
greater chance chance of flooding during the wet season and droughts in the
dry.
It really depends on your travel plans: muddy back roads can be a problem
during wet season if you intend to explore more off the beaten track locations
and rough seas can render some islands inaccessible to smaller boats. The
best months for diving off the coast of Bali, Lombok or the Komodo National
Park are April to September, with rough seas particularly in January & February.
If you plan to climb one of Indonesia's many volcanoes, such as Mt Bromo or Mt
Rinjani, then dry season is recommended. Expect the temperature to cool as
you climb, and pack some warmer layers.
