Announcement
Dear students,
Picture re-takers are today! Extra picture packets are on the table outside the
office.
Middle and High School Basketball signs-ups are in the office. If you are
interested in playing this year, swing by!
Campus Visit October 27th. It will be an all-day trip. Check your school email
for details. We need ten students to make it happen.
IMPORTANT: If you are serious about going, email a note to Will Rutherford
after you read the email. Parent permission slips are in the office.

Ingredients:
1 bunch red basil leaves (100 gr)
½ tsp citric acid
half lemon, sliced
½ cup sugar (add or reduce according to your taste)
1liter boiling water
Steps:
1. Roughly chop red basil leaves and place into a big clean bowl.
2. Add citric acid, sliced lemons, and sugar.
3. Pour 1 liter of hot boiling water in the bowl. Stir well and let it rest for about 40
minutes or until it reaches room temperature.
4. Separate the sherbet by running it over the sieve, discharge leaves, and lemon slices.
5. Move the sherbet into a clean jar with a lid. Keep it in the refrigerator.
6. Serve it cold. Adding some ice cubes would be nice.
7. Enjoy your refreshing and healthy summer drink.
