8 Lecture Room Expectations

Attendance

Students are expected to attend all official classes punctually, as well as any special
lectures, excursions and projects arranged for their benefit. Late arrivals may be
refused admission to a lecture.

Leave of absence

Students must consult Mr Mrwebi well in advance (except in cases where

circumstances do not allow this) for leave of absence.

In instances where a student is to represent an official team, a letter from the relevant
sporting body confirming selection and participation is required, well in advance of the
student’s departure. A student may be required to submit assignments/write tests
prior to his/her departure, should these be scheduled during the time when the
student will be away. Failure to attend class tests, and examinations or failure to
submit assignments without the relevant permission will lead to the loss of those
marks.

Medical certificates should be handed to Mr Mrwebi when you return from illness or
injury.

It is the responsibility of the student to make up work lost during his/her absence.
