    Subject: Invitation for Collaborative Research: Mr.Tallat Mehmood
    I am writing to extend an invitation to Mr. Tallat Mehmood, a PhD student at
    Politecnico di Milano, Italy, to participate in collaborative research at Kasetsart University,
    Kamphaeng Saen Campus (KU-KPS), Thailand. Mr. Mehmood, Pakistani citizen currently residing
    in Italy, is interested in conducting research that highly relevant to our ongoing projects.
    Mr. Mehmood's research interests in land and irrigation management,
    particularly as reflected in his PhD thesis titled "Farm Precision Irrigation and Sustainable Water
    Management at Basin Scale for Different Crop Types and Climate" aligns perfectly with our
    focus on improving water use and productivity in rice production.
    During his visit, planned for March 4th to March 31st, 2024, Mr. Mehmood will
    collaborate with Dr. Ekasit Kositsakulchai in the Department of Irrigation Engineering. The
    project will involve collaborative laboratory and field experiments investigating the
    effectiveness of different soil amendment methods in improving water use efficiency and soil
    hydraulic properties for rice cultivation. This collaboration aims to develop innovative
    solutions for sustainable water management in rice production, benefiting both Thailand and
    Italy.
    Politecnico di Milano, Italy, will cover all travel, accommodation, and living
    expenses for Mr. Mehmood's stay at KU-KPS. He will be accommodated on campus for the
