1. What is weight management?
 Weight management refers to the process of adopting and maintaining a healthy body weight
through a combination of proper nutrition, regular physical activity, and lifestyle choices.
2. What is eating habits?
 Eating habits refer to the regular pattern of food and drink consumption that an individual
develops over time. These habits can include the types of foods chosen, portion sizes, meal
timing, and the frequency of eating. Eating habits are influenced by a variety of factors,
including cultural, social, economic, environmental, and personal preferences. Developing
healthy eating habits is essential for overall well-being and can contribute to the prevention of
various health issues.
3. Does lack of sleep affect your weight? how?
 Yes, lack of sleep can have a significant impact on weight and overall metabolic health.
Several studies have shown a correlation between inadequate sleep and weight gain, as well
as an increased risk of obesity. The relationship between sleep and weight is complex and
involves various physiological and behavioral factors.
4. What are macronutrients?
 Macronutrients, often referred to as "macros," are the essential nutrients that make up the
majority of the caloric content in the diet. These nutrients provide the energy necessary for the
body to function and carry out its daily activities.
5. What is energy balance, energy intake, and energy expenditure?
 Energy balance is the relationship between the amount of energy (calories) consumed through
food and beverages (energy intake) and the amount of energy expended through physical
activity and metabolic processes (energy expenditure). The concept of energy balance is
fundamental to understanding weight management and overall health.
6. What is BMI? Calculate your own BMI and identify if you are obese, overweight, normal,
underweight.

7. In connection with your BMI, make you own healthy meal design/menu 1week based on your BMI.

8. What will happen if u eat more calories than you burn? Weight management refers to the process

 If you consistently eat more calories than your body burns, you will likely experience a positive
