RP: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to ‘Infopedia Competition, 2024’ an
enchanting and fascinating poster competition arranged by the Department of
English at Uttara University.
This is Rubaiaat -E- Tarik Prithwee, Lecturer in the Department of English and
FAF: Myself Fahim Ahmed Faisal, Lecturer in the Department of English have the
honour to serve as your host for this interesting showcase of distinct Island
Countries all over the world, ___________-
RP: We are very pleased to have our honorable guests within us who are the
aviators, guardians and light bearers, whose leadership, support and guidelines
have been our gadgets to improvise Uttara University’s academic excellence.

We would also like to welcome our students of 62 nd batch of the Department of
English, the participants of today’s event.
So. let’s give a big round of applause to all of the guests, renowned persons,
faculty members, participants and the volunteers.
RP: We would also like to give our whole-hearted gratitude towards our esteemed
panel of judges. Your presence and expertise within Uttara University enrich this
event incredibly. Your time, dedication, judgement in evaluating the participants’
presentation and valuable feedback to them are sincerely appreciable.

Today’s topic is Island Countries and there are 46 sovereign states and one
disputed territory, Taiwan, which consists only of islands. Today’s presentation is
not merely about representing these countries’ beauty, culture and diversity only.
It’s also about why these beautiful countries are facing threats in near future.

RP: Dear audience, as we continue with the program, we have the
privilege to hear from the distinguished personalities whose leadership
and vision have contributed greatly to the journey of our Uttara
University. Please welcome our esteemed speakers to share their insights
and thoughts with us.

RP: Let’s now welcome Mr. Nabid Aziz/ Abid Aziz, esteemed member
of the Board of Trustees at Uttara University to share his insights and
commendations on the success of “Infopedia Competition, 2024”.
FAF: Continuing with our distinguished lineup, I invite Prof. Dr. Gour
Gobindo Goswami, Pro Vice Chancellor of Uttara University to address
the audience and offer his respective on the significance of today’s
event.
RP: We’re delighted to hear your remarkable thoughts, sir Thank you so
much.
Last but certainly not least, everyone, please join me in welcoming the
beauty with brain Prof. Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Vice Chancellor of
Uttara University, our pilot, our dream maker. I would like to add that,
she has received her Postdoctoral degree by Ranchi University, the “Dr.
of Literature” was conferred upon her on 4 th April, 2024. She has also
received the Bishwa Manav Shiksha Award by the Jangipur Manav
Shiksha Research and Training Institute.
Please give a big round of applause to this gorgeous lady to share her
inspiring thoughts and closing remarks.
